Hell yeah. Best case scenario, you get a good school/study/productivity tablet for free. Worse case scenario you end up not liking it and reselling it for a profit biggrin.gif The RRP is pretty high. You're getting it essentially at half the price.

though sadly, I didnt buy the touch or type cover cuz I thought I wont be using it.. == now I need to spend more to buy it T~T

That's really unfortunate. The covers are really expensive on their own (RM400 each) and with that kind of price, you'd be better getting the Type Cover. For the student deal the Touch is the better deal since it's way cheaper than the Type. The thing with getting a Surface RT is that you have to think about how you're gonna be typing out those Word and Powerpoint documents and all. That's why most people bought it. For Office. I sure as hell ain't buying it for the app selection whistling.gif

No, you can't. It will only be able to run ARM based .exe apps.

Here is a list of programs that developers have ported or recompiled to ARM:

As far as the developers are concerned, it wont void the warranty because it resets every reboots. So you have to apply the "jailbreak" every time you reboot your Surface RT.

not to create problem.

i came here to discuss.

Surface RT come with usually 32gb (cheaper yet got MicroSD expansion)
Ready stock can find the price with touch keyboard at RM 1200

whereas LENOVO YOGA 11 RT come with 64GB also pack with SD card Expansion, 2 USB.

i question is...... is it worth to go for YOGA? (looks like normal NETBOOK)

as the price is around RM 11xx

if the specs around the same, i tink it all boils down to each individual preference? design of the tablet i mean~

imo, i would go for Windows RT because u can choose to use the type/touch kb or not, and also the finishing looks more premium~

Besides the form factor, Surface RT comes with Microsoft Office while the Yoga RT does not
