Just got my unit today! From Challenger The Mines, staff told me it was the last unit

Yep, I got the 5th unit.
11am I called, 2 units left. 12pm I call again, 1 unit left

Sequential read 450mb, write 258mb.

I only experience "vibration" with mine. They say its normal for designs with metal bodies to be so.

I'm a student, the staff didn't made such as offer so I assume it doesn't apply here in Malaysia.

Just tested, I don't experience any shock in the corners or back, just vibrations.

The battery life is about 4 to 6 hours, depending on how you use it. Have not tried playing games on it though.

The first 2 to 3 hours I used it to install all my stuff into it. Left with 50%, some light usage like browsing and Facebook for 2 hours took another 30 to 35% off the battery.

I'm now testing it again. Starting with 90% battery and 60% brightness. See how it fares with movies and videos

With 720p movie, it drains 30% an hour with maximum volume and 60% brightness.

I usually use it around 30% which is bright enough for me

Its hot but I kickstand it on the table so I don't usually touch it. After all, this device is too compact to have a good ventilation system.

RT = Tablet
Pro = Tablet PC

To be honest both of them not really comparable as RT is mobile platform while Pro can run all the program a desktop/laptop can run. Its a very small device to carry around which can perform whatever hard task you want it to, albeit the shorter battery life 4-6 hours.

If I'm not mistaken, not many laptops in the market offer 1920x1080 screen yet and with Pro 10" 1080p screen it has one of the highest PPI out there.

Only 3 retailers are selling them.

Without installing this there is no pressure sensitivity detection for Photoshop? Or does it affect all applications like OneNote and PDFs?

Challenger, Thundermatch and Harvey Norman only. They are the retailers for Microsoft Surface both Pro and RT.

It seems Microsoft have added SNS Network as their retailer.

When I bought the Surface Pro I didn't had gaming in mind. Only work. Documents and Photoshop. And Surface Pro is handling both of them really well
