Even if you get the accidental warranty? I thought at least should have replacement for defect.

Alienware 14 ONLY supports 1.35v RAMs...

Ah, how about the 17? looks like both use the low voltage RAM in the dell config sheet.

so what is the previous boot time?
My stock/defect alienware takes 12 sec to boot up.

9 - 10s is very bad my friend, full ssd + win 8 should have 2 - 3s which i m having with my XPS 14 not to mention i loaded it with huge amount of software

If from power button, arnd 10 secs.
If from Alienware logo appears, 4 secs.

So i say not bad. =)

hey aw 14 owner, do u guys have problem playing games due to missing directx dll???

i called dell thy said those directx i need to install myself, thy said is not everyone want to play game with alienware so they dont install that
