QUOTE(emino @ May 25 2013, 09:40 AM) In fact, I think I am. Just I would like to gain more about 5-10 kg to reach the most ideal look for me. Let me put it this way bro. You don't even have beachboy muscles. You just look like someone who just does sit ups and push ups. Lol. I speak the truth when I say you are SKINNY! Even underwear models are bigger than you. Focus on eating well and lifting well.I hang with a lot of crowd from geeks and nerds to the most hardcore sports people and most of them agree I look pretty good already. Only around gym goers and body builders they would say I am too skinny. Advices by you guys are always welcomed though. But sometimes, you guys seems to put a lot of expectation on me, which makes it hard on me. But I know all of you guys have good intentions! |

QUOTE(emino @ May 25 2013, 06:47 AM) While he looks good, his character supposed to be more of my size. I think even skinnier. what make u think that difficult to gain 5kg? can't lift heavier or diet?If I am cosplaying something like this character then baru needs his size. But most japanese heroes are my size. Don't be hard on me la bos. I'm trying my best. It is just hard for me to gain. Nak gain 5 kg pun susah. Current figure is good for now since gets hired to play Spiderman for events. If I am bigger than now they usually go for other people. Hilang side income! I am very impressed with your progress and improvement since a few years ago, i think u got mesomorph (or mixed with it) genetic just u didn't eat extra diet and exercise so it was hidden by ectomorph life-style. You could probably manage your lean muscle size easily by increase or decrease amount of your clean diet, unless you have problem with budget to be spend on food(hope no offended, we know bodybuilding is a very expensive hobby especially protein is the most expensive nutrition source for Asean) I saw some members in gym rakyat trained for 5-7 years their muscle more and more defined, but seem hardly grow bigger. I asked them don't they want to become bigger? They told me they can't afford protein supplement or extra protein foods, some even only eat 2 meals a day. Some just clean bulk once in a while for fun or competition, after 2-3 months their body back to lean/skinny again although they still train everyday, they just can't or don't want to spend money continuously on extra diets. |

Bro, dont get them wrong and demotivated. Thanks to all the sify for all the advices all this time. You've been a great help. Before this, I really wanted your body figure badly (Big chest, abs and etc). As soon as I reach my personal goal, I prefer to move further than this. So yeah... They are just helping you out and not judging you, but its still up to your choice though. *No hard feeling Back to topic, here's my recent progress. August 2012 - 71KG March 2013 - 63KG May 2013 - 69KG Height - 168CM And I'm on bulking phase currently, trying to hit 75 - 78KG at least then cut again. Also, any comment is welcome. I think it is up to that person alone to decide where he wants to take it. Emino is not skinny nor obese, so he do not need the "motivation" to do something. People do not need to just go BIG for no reason. Sure, folks who hits the gym gets into the frenzy of going bigger and bigger, but what is the end game? If Emino is getting gigs to play Spidey (which is the most popupar marvel character of all time), and if he finds that the physique he is currently in suits him, then why not? No one is asking him to play The Hulk... No one should just blindly "go big or go home." Seriously. I'd agree if you are in the gym, "train hard or go home," but not going big. Thanks to all the sify for all the advices all this time. Keep it up.In addition, this is my opinion based on looking at your photos, your ab region, your core definitely looks fuller. Not saying you gained fat, but looks bigger and thicker, more muscular. This is looking at your front pose/shot. Would not be able to really compare since there is no before shot from the side. So, this is just my opinion from looking at the front shot available. Opinions are not factual, I should do my disclaimer here before anyone start to take my opinions as a "matter-of-fact-statement." It is difficult for yourself to see any differences because this is just is, unless you do not look at the mirror for at least 3 months Now, what is the next step for you? Let's get motivated to do it! - |

Thanks bro for the compliment... well next step, I think I will be focusing more on compound movement. In addition, this is my opinion based on looking at your photos, your ab region, your core definitely looks fuller. Not saying you gained fat, but looks bigger and thicker, more muscular. This is looking at your front pose/shot. Would not be able to really compare since there is no before shot from the side. It is difficult for yourself to see any differences because this is just is, unless you do not look at the mirror for at least 3 months Now, what is the next step for you? Let's get motivated to do it!  - As usual, I started doing all isolation exercise, and quite a number of them hit plateau, and I seldom do deadlift and squad before. And now I am loving it, they are so effective, that I can easily break my even my rows, benchpresses plateau. PR for squad: 120kg x5 PR for deadlift: 130kg x3 And then, one of my friend introduce me a number of compound movement, and I find them very interesting as well. (I think that is why I got better core) Exercise like front lever, muscle up, plank pushup, human flag really do engage a lot of muscle group. So yeah, to sum up, I will keep on hitting hard in all the compound movement (if possible get minor visible striation on my quad), and able to perform all the body weight exercise very well. Target by end of august: 1) 10x Muscle Up consecutively 2) at least able to hold full front lever for 5 seconds 3) at least able to perform one human flag 4) at least able to hold my planck with my leg straight 5) squad at least 140kg x5 5) deadlift at least 140kg x5 This post has been edited by the100308: May 29 2013, 11:32 AM |

i injured my shoulders quite a few times, left while doing pullups (zzz) and right while doing shoulder presses. the pain is still there, even after months. any advice for treatment. some say deep tissue massage would do the trick. medically, will scan reveal the injury? and any type of doctor i should go to? |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ May 29 2013, 08:48 PM) where did u do ur MRI? how much was it? pantai Hospital BP. it supposed only RM 850, but i choose warded so can claim insurance lol did your injury cause you immense pain, or it just bothered you? i'm trying yo avoid surgery if possible. continuous pain when i training, uncomfortable when idle, until one point when i train biceps also pain, my ortho said my biceps attachment also out of place because of the tear. Mine is Type II and i have 3 anchors now. if u have continuous pain just go do MRI, it might only inflammation, if not serious can get away with cortisone or PRP i think. You can ask your ortho.
