how do i increase the strength of my palm? what workout should i do?
i notice i do not have much strength in holding/griping barbel or bar.

Lel your palm? Seriously palm? I think you meant the grip is it? Yeah sometimes your grip gives out while other muscle still can be workout. For example when doing shrugs your grip will give out first.

Deadlift without strap(some might disagree with this claiming deadlift shouldn't restrict by grip strength)
Farmer walk
Wrist curl
Reverse wrist curl
Dead hang
Reverse bicep curl

Personally, i just try to train most compound exercise without strap and never train forearm directly.

tot is a verb tongue.gif

so it is rather common in lifting?

I will try out the methods offered by the sifus...

that's my weakness when i dead-lift

Not a verb lel palm means your bare hands. Sometimes, but if you wanna improve you might wanna invest some weight lifting straps. Or chalk.

Just do the 5x5 program and then add some accessory isolation work after you're done. Not too much though. Some curls and close grip bench or chin ups and dips together with some core and rear delt work would be enough.
