Cant say it better myself. I tot CS means u can bring in at seller's cost price, and sell without profit or negligible profit. But some of the price like even higher than lyn seller punye pricing... Means lyn seller doing CS? 
Maybe someone shd trademark this to the one and omly deserving champion!  LOL!

Everyone knows the price and have their own lubang to source for Lego, I don't see any point in competing with establish sellers here. Peace!

Surprise surprise, this is the exact typical thing we see rear its head every once in a while outside of Trade Zone.
You start to buy/sell in fan thread. You start to question other sellers. CS, sales, BS, its a buy/sell transaction taking place.

If you're sincere to help ppl, let forumers know about it in the thread, and conclude the deal and details in PM.

Really tempted to buy series 10 from BL. But read somewhefe that distribution inside each box(box of 60) really wierd, so will end up having too much of same fig.

Well, that was just a preliminary estimate to frighten everyone. lol!  I didn't have the actual weight this morning and I assumed it would be heavier than 10227 B-Wing due to it being more expensive. The B-Wing is 2.8Kg so I assumed the 10240 X-Wing to be at 3Kg.

With that assumption I could only fit 5 sets of 10240 X-Wing into the shipping box. (Max weight per shipping box is 16Kg)

Late this afternoon I received a reply from my supplier that the 10240 weight is 2.26Kg, meaning I can actually fit 7 sets into the shipping box not 5.

So now I can work out a more accurate price for this 10240 X-Wing, and I'm posting it here for everyone to see:

Price for one set of 10240: 183 Euros
Price for one 16Kg shipping box: 106 Euros
Total price for 7 sets: (7 x 183) + 106 = 1387 Euros
Bank Transfer Charges: 25 Euros
Hence average price per set: (1387 + 25) / 7 = ~202 Euros

I use an exchange rate of 4, this is also risky for me. The bulk order I just paid this week the bank gave me a rate of 4.03. I know our phone app XE Currency gives a rate of 3.96 but I pay what the bank states.

So converting back to Ringgit: 4 x 202 = RM808 (this is the cost inclusive of shipping right up to the point of reaching customs KLIA)

Our friendly customs officer will slap 10% tax: RM808 + 10% = RM889

Pos Malaysia charges RM49.80 for custom clearance. I forgot how much my bank charges me for bank transfer. Yeah, I have to cover both countries' bank transfer charges.

So let's just assume I round it up to RM900 to cover for the miscellaneous charges this will be the cost of importing the 10240 X-Wing to Malaysia right up to the time of collection at Pos Laju.

I mark up another RM30 for my troubles and the bulk order price becomes RM930. Honestly RM30 is not much of a cushion in the event of any surprises but this is the formula I use for CS/Bulk orders. (mark RM10 for small sets and RM30 for big sets)

This morning I put up a higher figure because it was based on the assumption that it is heavier than B-Wing and I always operate on the basis of "quoting high and adjust low" rather than "quoting low and adjust high" later. So I just announce RM950-1000 with the intention and hope that I can adjust it lower pending confirmation of the actual weight. I have been importing Lego for myself for several years now and have long accepted that it is not worth my time to make this into a business. I stumbled across this forum and thought of giving everyone a hand, it was never my intention to compete with the sellers here.

I know what CS means but let's be honest, I'll be taking a big risk to sell it just at cost. Cutting it too thin and risk losing money in the process... Community service yes but not charity...

I'm in a bloody foul mood today and I just want to vent and I'm sorry it has to be here in this forum. To me the price although it is on the high side it is what to expect for super dooper early adopters. If I want it cheap I will wait, if I want to get it before everyone else like the Palace Cinema I will pull the trigger to get it.

Same like PS3, Xbox 360, Iphones, the price is always high at the very beginning, so it is expected for me.

Wow  - 25 pages already? Just got back from 1U (yeah, I know, it's like my 2nd home) and as usual, stopped by the 2 usual spots where they normally have the most LEGO.

TRU - restocks aplenty. If anyone knows the layout for 1U TRU, one side of the shelf is now all mostly the licensed sets. Saw restocks for some Superhero sets like Spider-man, Arctic Batman and The Bat Vs Tumbler sets. Probably some Star Wars too but I wasn't really paying attention.

I walked over to the other side and it's mostly the City sets now, placed alongside some KREOs. But quite a large selection.

I thought nothing really interesting so proceed towards the exit when from the corner of my eye, I spotted these!



Was surprised to see them at TRU.

Some new stock at AEON too but the glass case was shared with Furby so they placed some LEGO on top of the shelf as well. Nothing much to report here.
