Very useful info. This should go onto the 1st page FAQ.
Just curious how much was your "high value" import that got "VIP" treatment. So far I never kena, so you have my utmost respect o-sifu-of-importers!
Just sharing.

There are still gaps in the info so hopefully other more experienced sifus can impart some wisdom on this.
Hmm... I prefer not to reveal. Worry if my wife reads this forum and realised how much I "really" spend on Lego I sure kean tarik telinga! or worse... lol!

Who knows... I really pissed when my package is lost... waste my money and waste supplier stock...
Yes. Is trackable.. I have been importing from Korea and Oz... pretty low price compared to US.... Shipping is cheaper too..
I have both set also... but no time build....
Yea... I did not use the super fast one la... I use normal parcel
Eh? I know Korea is cheap but Oz? I always thought Legos are expensive in Australia... I bought a few sets from Korea before but never Australia. For parts USA is the cheapest but shipping is expensive so next best is EU which is overall cheaper once you include shipping charges.

[WTB] Mr Gold
[attachmentid=3396849]
Saw one posted on ebay for EUR999. Fuyoh... for that ammo, can get all 160 cmf's and still got lots of spare change. some more if order sure kena tahan by our beloved customs some more.
Better I get my daughter to build one for me. May not be made form gold but priceless cos made with love....
Agree bro, what you have is priceless!

That Series 10 Mr. Gold is creating quite a storm, I'm on the camp that condemns this marketing approach. Just stick to the standard 16 minifigs is good enough already...
And the rate TLG are churning the CMF series is crazy! IMHO they should only release one series a year, at the rate they are going late comers will either miss out on the earlier series or have to pay a hefty premium for it... Not healthy.

just notice this while checking amazon.com, look for Lego Space Vermin Vaporizer 70704
Under "Origin" it's Imported (China).
Does that mean Lego sets is now starting to made in china ??

TLG have been manufacturing Lego parts in China for some time under contract manufacturing arrangement, and if memory serves me right I read recently that TLG will officially setup their own factory in China to cater for the growing Asian market. Nobody knows for sure yet if this new factory is making Legos just for Asian market or as part of their global supply chain. I read in Brickset that EU and USA consumers are hoping that the made in China Legos for Asian market only, apparently they've been complaining for years about the poor quality of Lego parts coming out of China.

Thanks all for the advice. I got my package finally today. The package has reached my hometown since 18th March 2013, but no notification slip has been sent out. Called up posline, as advised by some of the members here and guess what, the local poslady called and asked me to collect the package. So from my experience, what i can say is:
a) Call the local post office and check whether your item is there or not
b) If not, call posline at 1-300-300-300 and lodge a report
Here's some pics:

Will unbox later and sell the remaining figs at my thread.

Glad to see a happy ending!
I have two parcels still in transit for over a month... not looking good.
