Can't keep up with this Lego craze. Busy trying to find new home for my precious Lego. No time to play with Lego myself.....
On another note... Iron Man was detained by customs but have finally landed......

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Apr 16 2013, 11:49 PM) Got. I checked at deutschepost, the item was last scanned in malaysia on the 13th march 2013. Now i dunno what should i do. Better contact seller back seller. It's been a month so package likely to be in some postman's house. All of us who bring in plastic bricks face this risk. Just make sure you hedge against potential losses. |

QUOTE(FreakyRookie @ Apr 17 2013, 08:56 AM) This is known as the Lego Phenomenon. Shows how far Lego has come along. Almost went bankrupt in mid-2000's when everyone was playing with Mattel and Hasbro toys. Now we cannot get enough Lego and have made them the largest toy company in the world. Give yourselves a big pat on the back! Too bad cannot buy shares in the Lego company.... |

QUOTE(FreakyRookie @ Apr 17 2013, 11:36 AM) huh~don scare me weh bro..i jz bought from them yesterday... If Bookdepository then dont have to worry. Customer service top notch. If never arrive after long time, just send them an email and they will either ask you to wait until a certain date, or they simply issue refund or re-send the book. Same goes with BN, Amazon, etc.I track my order, still in proccess.. Wat book u bought? |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 17 2013, 01:20 PM) Just got off the phone with Pos Malaysia KLIA... Another pleasant experience! Very useful info. This should go onto the 1st page FAQ. I have 8 boxes total and 5 were presented to Customs yesterday so this morning checked and tracking status updated to "Parcel at customs at country of destination" so immediately picked up the phone and call Pos Malaysia KLIA. Thankfully the call was picked up immediately but the person I dealt with yesterday in on leave today... No problem, the person I spoke to knows her stuff and she picked up immediately where I left off yesterday with her colleague. I gave her the tracking number of my remaining 3 parcels and she put me on hold for a few minutes while she search for my parcels... Few minutes later she came back to confirm the 3 boxes are at customs, now they have to wait for customs to inspect and after that only Pos Malaysia can give me the reference number for custom clearance. I took the opportunity to ask a little about the customs clearing process and my initial hunch was right! So I was right about Pos Malaysia being a facilitator in this process, they have absolutely no control over customs. If you are really lucky and the officer inspects everything at one go then there will only be one form and you only need to pay RM49.80. I forgot to ask another question and that is regarding "high value" imports, last shipment I had to pay additional charges because the value is above certain amount and there is an additional form to submit/declare... Additional cost there if kena this clause... Well, I hope this is helpful to everyone importing their Legos and getting stuck at customs. In closing I wish to praise once again the professional staff at Pos Malaysia KLIA (Customs Affairs Unit). They don't have a nice big office to work in, in fact it is next to the toilets. So far my dealings with them have always been pleasant and they are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you! Just curious how much was your "high value" import that got "VIP" treatment. So far I never kena, so you have my utmost respect o-sifu-of-importers! |

QUOTE(vey99 @ Apr 17 2013, 11:32 PM) just to note klodsland.dk minimum shipping cost is DKK400 ~ RM215 It looks like many ppl will be importing from Denmark. Could this be Lego's own bricklink shop to sell rejects from factory or sets that have been returned by customers? valid for 0-5kg so need to buy more sets... I think 3 sets of Olivia house might able to get under 5kg, then ship here the cost is around rm220-230 net which is quite a good deal. Just be mindful that your shipment may be detained by customs and taxed 10% plus RM50 to Pos Malaysia for processing Clearance. So there could be hidden costs depending on your luck. |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 17 2013, 09:16 PM) I'm also not good at picit picit. Moreover I feel embarrassed standing there molesting the packet in public, if I'm a kid I don't mind but I'm old already la... You may not know it but you will learn to picit someday when you need to sort out your CMF boxes. Unless you have x-ray machine at home. So I tried picit picit at home with my box of 60 packets thinking at the comfort of my home I can take my time and slowly feel it... I ran out of patience and gave up! So now I just buy complete box of 60, no need to stress! I have one rule for my daughter, either play on her round Ikea table or her room study table. No building all over the floor. With Duplos I'm ok for her to play on the floor as they are too large to play comfortably on the round Ikea table but not the regular Lego... |

QUOTE(hades4eve @ Apr 18 2013, 10:57 AM) It's not really gold gold.... its just like spray it over... Yeah, it's not really worth it's weight in gold.... unless that's a real diamond at the end of his cane. Some more the hype and desire to be among the first to own and show off Mr Gold is driving the price up to crazy levels. I think I'll just spray the Ringmaster CMF gold and find him a cane accessory. My wife and kids won't know the difference! |

QUOTE(hades4eve @ Apr 18 2013, 11:31 AM) Don't get so down on yourself. It's part of life, gaining experience in relationships to prepare yourself for when Miss Right comes long. When that happens you sure forgot about Lego and enter so-called "Dark Ages".... until you have little kids and take them shopping for toys and ... that's the circle of life! |
