QUOTE(karlbum @ Apr 10 2013, 04:59 PM) based on the entry in sirim approval database, confirm no LTE support for exynos model. and most probably for malaysia they will bring in exynos first because the snapdragon version has not been approved yet. But since Samsung said exynos version will be later than snapdragon, would there be a delay in S4 availability in Malaysia? |

QUOTE(FayeChan @ Apr 16 2013, 12:41 AM) Of course it is over saturated. However there are always settings to make the screen less saturated. In all previous Samsung amoled devices, the screen profile can reduce saturation but it is still not accurate colors. Basically its just get too wash out or too saturated. Only way is to tweak the colors in the kernel level. After all, manufacturers will not leave their users high and dry if there isn't room allowed for some form of customization. Hopefully the S4 can have better profiles. |

QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Apr 18 2013, 12:32 PM) QUOTE(zenix @ Apr 18 2013, 02:07 PM) eMMC is the embedded storage chip within the phone. Samsung had corruption problems which eventually bricks the phone on S3 and Note 2 exynos set.mudkipryan94 Octa is the exynos set hence the risk is in this unit if samsung screw up again. LTE unit should be safe, which is why i gave u a But the eMMC chip in S4 is totally different model from S3 and Note 2 hence no one knows if any issue will arise. Its just pure speculation base on the manufacturer past issues. This post has been edited by antt00: Apr 18 2013, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(zenix @ Apr 18 2013, 02:52 PM) no wonder when i put in a 32GB class10 SDcard my s2 is like crawling. Erm confusion. eMMC corruption problem has nothing to do with external sd card. S2 is alot safer than S3 and Note 2. As long as you dun do risky stuff like rooting and flashing it is safe. I would say all developer knows the risk of S2 so the problem is contained. S3/Note 2 is a totally different picture, even on stock rom, the phone can die tiba-tiba.in the end i just moved all the movies and pictures to the card and put back all the apps on the phone memory. Fact, if you want AOSP go LTE.
On which one will get more custom stock rom it depends on the model the country of the rom chef will get. |
