the cheapest macbook shoud be priced at RM 4199 (which is quite cheap)
anyone knows how is the warranty provided by apple malaysia..?
this product seems affordable and could possible run windows xp.. drool.gif

Macs are priced the same everywhere in the country, with only very very minimal discount given by individual reseller - so don't have to think too much, just buy from the shop you had the best talk with biggrin.gif Apple's warranty is not provided by Apple Malaysia, instead it's a worldwide warranty that works the same everywhere in the world. So if you buy yours in Malaysia and one day (within the warranty period) it throws tantrum just send it to the nearest Apple Store/Shop, KL or London.

yeah incase you want more buy applecare extend the warranty 2 years more. so 3 years international warranty

well, reasons for Applecare plan purchase afaik..

- extended warranty just incase.
- warranty is international so any country with an Apple centre will help you.
- when you sell 2nd hand and u have the plan, u fetch a slightly better price.

yesterday i went apple store at the curve.. ask for mac book then they said will be in the market next month.. huh.. need to wait for 2 weeks more..

but this new book use two ram (256mb x 2).. so need to buy a single 1gb ram for ugpgarding then keep the existing ram under my bed.. haiya need add some more money.. doh.gif

battery life is 6 hours but only 3.5hours with wifi on
