Dammit just release it, now here's one loyal mac user running out of patience!! Been waiting for a 13.3" MacBook for my sister before having to settle to with VAIO SZ, which cost equally the same as MacBook Pro - now who says using Windows is cheap? To get a reliable machine running crappy OS, there's still a price to pay

QUOTE(lswang @ May 17 2006, 10:37 PM) No offense but your statement (including the last few) really got me wonder if you're still having your mom & dad to buy everything for you. 11k for a MBP is worth it, while paying 5K for a MacBook, which is spec'ed reasonable close to MBP, is only rich ppl's option!!?? Have a walk around lowyat, show the shop staffs macbook's spec and ask them for similar PC laptop, see it for yourself what are prices like... Decent brands like Toshiba or HP will easily cost around the same, but with uglier design (puke). This post has been edited by Deadman.Inc.: May 18 2006, 04:51 PM |

Macs are priced the same everywhere in the country, with only very very minimal discount given by individual reseller - so don't have to think too much, just buy from the shop you had the best talk with

Bootcamp to WinXP - Just think of a PC laptop with these specs, how do you think it will run? It's the same with Macbook, no slow downs cuz it's basically dual booting it and run natively, not emulation or what so ever...

That's if we run it in the ever-hot-and-humid Malaysia, in cold countries or during winter like where I am now, it's damn good a warm plate to heat up my cold palms

QUOTE(sotong4896 @ May 31 2006, 07:41 AM) how much will it cost for a 1gb ram from third party? There is a motion sensor called "Sudden Motion Sensor" which is supposed to protect the harddisk upon any "sudden" motion detection, but the tapping thing you mentioned is a hack that made use of the feature and turn it into something cool/fun.i have one question is that macbook is equiped with motion sensor? because i saw some video user switching between OS just by tapping the side of the macbook SmackBook Pro Miniac, I can see your house kinda grand and big eh? And is that a PowerBook 15" at the corner? |

Heheheeh... after reading about miniacs' free upgrade I called them (Yes, I bought from Funan too) immediately to ask and was given some lame excuse that they'd missed it. So I'm currently finding ways to bring it back for the upgrade.
