yeah there shouldn't be any problems running windows thru bootcamp on this little baby... it's intel based, and the specs are about the same as the intel mac mini - which can run windows..

It's pissing me off that the MacBook gets the "place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click" feature that the current 17" MBP has, but not on the 15" MBP. Grrrr... Where's my software update Apple?!?!

you can't really be chasing afteer technology.... especially when Apple switched to the fast lane.... that's the reason i prefer the PowerPC platform instead; slow but obvious upgrades....

anyway, if it's upgradable/enable via firmware, I'm sure you can hack if you want to.... brows.gif

PPC was the reason why I noticed myself using my VAIO and PC desktop more and more in the past even though Windows was not my thing, but it offered speed, and speed is of utmost importance to my work. I just couldn't deal with the kind of sluggishness PPC had caused OS X. But now Intel changes everything and I don't see any reason to use Windows anymore, well except for Oblivion. PPC was the bottleneck that was slowing down OS X, it had its glorious days but it has to go now.

Anyway yeah, obviously the 15" MBP knows when you put two fingers on the trackpad, it's just a software update away to enable that feature. I'm sure Apple will include this in future updates, they might have overlooked this little thing with the launching of their new MacBook and the new flagship store on fifth avenue. I guess I have to stick with a mouse for now. Oh yeah, where's the bluetooth Mighty Mouse stevie? biggrin.gif

No offense but your statement (including the last few) really got me wonder if you're still having your mom & dad to buy everything for you. 11k for a MBP is worth it, while paying 5K for a MacBook, which is spec'ed reasonable close to MBP, is only rich ppl's option!!?? Have a walk around lowyat, show the shop staffs macbook's spec and ask them for similar PC laptop, see it for yourself what are prices like... Decent brands like Toshiba or HP will easily cost around the same, but with uglier design (puke).
