lswang , if you want a mac emulator on PC , Just go to PearPC or you could PM me [I am a staffer for PearPC , and I could help you]. PearPC Is a great way to try out OSX , its like having OSX ..............on your PC....aka a mac...Unlike OSX86 , which requires you to have a SSE2 enabled processor , dedicated partitio nand supported hardware. PearPC runs ontop of Windows...

That graphics card can't take wow ...You can still play , dont expect stunning 3D Visuals , as its just it would be okay. I heard that Apple tweaked Intel's GMA 950...to give some boost..Not tooo sure about that as well

Yep , you can run boot camp..Upgrade to 1GB and you're set

You can get cheap RAMs from UK..If you diy..there are many stores..Just pick a copy of MacWorld Plus or MacWorld , and see it for yourself

The question : can you afford or not.....?

I would rather take 12 months installment plan and upgrade the ram by myself !

Bump the RAM to at least 1.5GB and then it should be okay. The MacBook should do a good job on this

It does work , you would need PatchBurn...Get PatchBurn..if you mac could detect it as a CD Drive , then use patchburn to enable DVD Burning

It needs to run in Dual-Channel

You need to put 1x 1GB Stick and 1x256MB stick [the same speed] , and then it should work

MBP comes with ATI Radeon Mobility X1600 , which is one of the best graphics card for a lappie [Of course it might get a new makeover]. MacBook has an IGP Graphics card vs MBP - PCI-Express

By the way , once you have tried mac , you willl stick with it. But the problem with me is that I need Windows to play my Star Wars Games [yes there are for macs , but when it comes to modding and installing patches , you would need Windows]. But since mac now runs on x86 platform ....I guess you could still run the game on the mac itself...Hehehehe

macosxhints.com

This might help to fix the AGP Problem , open the selected application and look for info.plist , then change the AGP String to PCI

yes of course its universal. you could use it for both the PCs , thats why .mac accounts are meant for. PM me if you want to sign up for Spymac club [30-days Free Club days] , I could offer you that. Its pretty neat and they offer more storage then .mac itself !
