Yesterday, I went to consult Dr. Ainur.
Spent RM1,000 (1K) includes medication (restatsis, vismed multi), eye assessment and doctor consultation.
Overall is worth. Doctor spotted i have dry spot at my eye causes my asti detected from machine is different from my spec. So need to treat my dry spot first before proceed to lasik.

QUOTE(clamp_wl @ Jan 16 2022, 12:16 AM) Hi, do you still able to get referral discount for Optimax? hi, there is no more further discount for optimax. if u prefer to consult a great corneal specialist, then i strongly recommend u to seek dr Ainur's opinion in ara damansara medical centre eye clinic. then u can decide where u want to do the lasik.

Update:
In the end, I got femto-LASIK done at Optimax TTDI. Very smooth procedure, they explained everything well. No complications though I noticed I have a slight astig still about (-0.50) post-op now 40 days. Total cost was about 9,000

Hi all, just after some opinions and yes I've been through the thread for info. I live overseas and will be back for a month later this year. Looking at either TransPRK or Smile but unsure at this stage as I'm unable to commit to all the post-procedure checkups (both have at least a follow up 2 months after procedure).
I'm looking to do it here as it's very cheap (at least compared to where I live). Is it okay if I cannot commit to all the post-op consultations apart from the ones within a month from procedure?
Thanks 🙏
