Is PrebyLASIK = trifocal correction? I've been wanting to explore this corrective surgery for myself. Late 40s, with long, short sightness & astigmatism ..

Will the correction be negated, when age advances past 50??

Any where can I compare the services and pricing for these?

Doc who recommended me to do this is in Sunway Medical Center KD. Hopefully not a product bias side sale.

yes its for far and near vision correction, if you done it early 40, then you will struggle in 50 once presbyopia power increase. Night halo is the common complaints from post presbylasik patients. i am not sure about the pricing in different centre for this procedure because not many doctors would recommend it.

Hi any news if this doctor has come back since she was a recommended doctor?

I just went for the assessment at Optimax TTDI last Saturday and it felt a bit like a conveyor belt of patients going in and out. Although the consultant (not a doctor I think) was friendly in conducting the assessment, I felt that SMILE and SMILE Pro was definitely what they were pushing, but I'd admit that they seem the most tempting since I want the safest procedure with the least recovery time.

Any experience on Optimax vs ISEC vs THONEH vs Vista vs Oasis vs whatever other providers? Also, would it be dumb to consider SMILE instead of SMILE Pro to save a bit of dough? I'm going in to correct my longsightedness with some astig.

hi, the lady doctor decided to stay in UK and work there.

Optimax lasik check all done by optometrist, not eye specialist, you only get to see the doctor before surgery. the optometrist will push hard for sign up to earn the commission.

I still strongly recommend Dr Ainur in Ara damansara medical centre for lasik consultation, you will experience a much thorough explanation by the doctor himself after the full complete test and no hard sales on surgery. He is very experienced corneal specialist that Msian royalty seek his service and done eye surgeries.
