QUOTE(manbot4.0 @ Mar 8 2019, 03:37 PM) BE AWARE: When its cheap, they're using older laser technology (likely not customized) & Microkeratome (a blade) to perform the procedure. Make sure they perform an extensive tests on you, obtain the result & get a second opinion. Be very well informed of the pre-op, op and post-op risks & complications. Smile: RM6500Anyway, how much are they charging? Photolasik: RM5000 Manual:RM4500 |

QUOTE(kha7577 @ Mar 20 2019, 10:06 AM) Yeah happy to answer any questions. Yeah can but it took me a week to start using computer properly but now can do no big deal just don't forget to put eye drops regularly. How much total cost? You better go consult with him first and see if your eyes are suitable,my eyes were considered dry initially so Dr Ainur wanted to treat the dry eye first before undergoing the surgery so it took more than a month since initial consultation before I did LASIK and so far so good |

QUOTE(leremygan @ Jul 31 2020, 06:33 PM) After reading of so many unsatisfactory result and complications from lowyat, reddit, and other real life friends, I made up my mind not to do any surgery to my eyes. Just spend more money on better spectacles (1.74 Aspheric, blue filter, Hoya glass, Oakley frame) should be better than taking the risk. 95% satisfaction rate is not high enough, if 99.5%, then I can take the risk lah. what is your lens power? |

QUOTE(Justaflower @ Sep 4 2020, 08:04 PM) Seems like Vista is kinda promoting ICL at the moment? I went to inquire + free initial test (using machines) = and conclusion was that i am suitable for both lasik and ICL (subject to the more comprehensive test), but staff was promoting ICL, saying it has no dry eye issues etc. My issue is cornea thickness is thin/on parFor anyone that is curious, current promo = RM98 for comprehensive eye test and RM4998 per eye for Ilasik (cannot qualify for the standard lasik lol sad) ICL = RM7998 per eye (with astig) ANYWAY, decided to follow a fellow lowyat's recommendation and booked a more comprehensive eye test with Ara Damansara Medical Centre instead. Let's see how it goes. so lasik doesnt qualify, how about yours? |

QUOTE(danielx90 @ Oct 10 2020, 01:10 AM) hi all, KPJ Ipoh quite cheapi have this 2 options: KPJ ipoh : RM4040 (femotolasik surgery),screening (rm100), covid test (350),free enhancement within 6 months, 6 times follow up for 1 year. Optimax(ttdi): RM9000 (femtolasik), screening (rm120), fee post operative checkup, and medication. WARRANTY FOR LIFE. My question is am i really need the lifetime warranty (enhancement) from optimax. how often do ppl always do enhancement. im 30yo. That almost twice the price of kpj. kpj ipoh is resident dr lee mun toong and visiting dr. shin hoy choong. any comment? i think the life time warranty is abit extra from my opinion..that a huge sum money saved. hope kpj ipoh is equally good though, |

QUOTE(Yokie @ Mar 26 2022, 06:19 PM) Hi everyone, I hope my message can help. I'm a silent reader and have been following this topic for years (about 6/7). I've been contemplating doing LASIK & I have been wearing glasses for close to 30years now. so did you proceed with ICL or hold for now?Special thanks to “Jialat” & this forum for honest opinion & feedback. I’ve decided to go see Dr Ainur for a proper evaluation. Dr Ainur, is a wonderful doctor, super detailed & so comfortable to deal with. Thank god, I went to see him. I'm not suitable for LASIK as I have abnormal cornea. Possibility of Keratoconus. We will be monitoring my conditions for a year and hopefully, it is stable to do ICL. If I’m on an impulse to go ahead with LASIK centre, I might just put myself at risk & go blind. So please don’t save the money, go see Dr Ainur get a proper review. You only have one pair of eyes. i have small thickness of cornea, not able to do normal lasik Dr suggest me to do ICL too This post has been edited by myroy: Mar 28 2022, 12:59 PM |
