Dear all, My uncle wanted to start his business at taman university (opposite AISMT). Just wanna do some survey here to see what kind a shop that AISMT student needed.

a) Printing & Stationary shop
b) Food Stall
c) suggestion pls..

Thank you :>

people rarely drive past taman university.

your uncle is better off opening a shop at taman tasik indah, where students from BLM can SEE the shop.

we need more shops IN the campus, not outside.

we students just need more social activities, printing/stationary/food stalls are adequate at the moment.

The student council should be the one promiting social activities. CLUBS, events, etc.
Is there any electronic portal to voice out directly to them? o.o?
Their facebook group seems dead =.=

i'm speaking from a consumer's point of view. so our views as consumers count more than your uncle's. we RARELY need to travel towards Bedong, hence we will reach your uncle's place often. if you want good business, open an economy rice shop/stall at the Semeling town. if you're good, you can earn alot there.

oh yeah, i heard there's this new U Blender cafe at Taman Universiti too. I think most of us, hasn't seen the shop yet. All the best to that taukeh.

It is often open in extended hours when there are examinations.

Speaking of the library, did you hear about the ridiculous new male dress-code?

About the shop thing; I guess opening in the taman immediately near the sports complex would be an okay idea but then again depends on what you choose to sell. The few reasons I go out is for food, groceries (if you plan to wage a price-war with tesco), food (again) and maybe computer appliances (printer ink and etc.). But if service is good with a good price I think anything will run.
