Hello everybody. I'm a student currently taking A levels and im finishing the course end of this year. There's one thing i wud wan to knw...does AIMST put priority more on the foundation students than other students like the ones who took A lvl, stpm etc etc..? How many seats will normally be given to these students?

thanks. ur reply is much appreciated. smile.gif

yes, the priority will be given to the foundation students. however, the university will also recruit students to the programmes from A levels, stpm and so forth. however, the policy of seats reservation for extra-aismt's foundation students will be changed from time to time. it is dependent to the internal dicision made by the university management and faculties.

I'm actually intending to enter AIMST after my A level. However, they only have july intakes and i wud probably have to wait for another half a year if i were to enter aimst. The thing im afraid abt is what if i dint get the seat even after i applied...i wud have wasted my half a year time then...

indeed! may i know which course would u like to pursue? as it has been mention, different courses had different ratio of foundation and non-foundation students. limited seats are there for non aimst foundation students especially in dentistry and pharmacy.

Batch 15 here too.. Thank u to all seniors of Batch 13 for making the orientation such a memorable event.. And at last I met u csrulez.. Haha..

I think dentistry is harder to enter compare to MBBS due to limited places.. Foundation students usually get priority I guess...

i dun think the university will give out the offer letter until the intake is closed for application. if aimst was ur final option, what u can do is, bring ur documents along with u and visit the university. or maybe u can make some calls to the admin department and explain ur will and dicision to them. so far, interview has not been conducted yet. and of course the main consideration afterall, is the result.

heys all.. just some updates...

AIMST ID number for the year of 2009 reached a new milestone....

the last recorded ID which i know of is 0901360....

2nd convo is on the october 10

ramli ibrahim dance thingy on the 25th october...

library is currently opened till 10.30pm on mondays to fridays for the month of august rclxms.gif

feedback is needed whether this can be implemented the whole year around....

internet in guys and girls hostel. the problem with the internet is due to wireless routers which conflict with the AIMST main streamyx account. So...
if possible use ethernet hub, not wireless routers.

if u insist on using wireless routers, please bring it to IT department to reconfigure it to AIMST settings...

the pathway near the laundry block doesn't get flooded d.. thanks to the MIED ppl.. who dug a small drain as a temporary solution.

i think thats all at the moment... hehe...

feel free to give suggestions and ideas on problems face by students and how can it be solved...

thanks

Yes, you mean CGPA? As long as you do not have any B- in any of your science subjects. You can try applying, but competition is tough.

And yahiko, we're in need of another McD and Coffee Bean. Hahaa.

STPM CGPA? Gov. minimum requirement is 3.00.
There are 12 private medical IPTS in Malaysia now (assuming you will want to work in Malaysia after graduation)~ click below:

Try applying.

currently there has been an increase in the number of tables and chairs in the cafeteria.

library opened till 10.30pm.. ( may turn out to be a long term thingy due to the fantastic response by students)
