staying in malaysia sounds fine to me.. itz a beautiful country with no so beautiful admin... if u noe what i mean.. however, u can take ur specialist course overseas and then come back to malaysia to practise rite? just do the degree in a foreign country.. i heard many ppl do tat..

Just to add on to my long list of questions.. Haha.. This is a weird question but they say we need to wear long-sleeve white shirt n long black pants/skirt for the orientation week.. So do they expect us to wear it everyday during the orientation?? *gasps* And what do we wear for registration, if anyone knows? Finally, it is stated that we're allowed to wear jeans, does this apply to all students? Does MBBS student have different dress code, i.e formal wear everyday? Gosh, I think I'll get a headache just packing the bare essentials for university.. 

Every batch is different even ever so slightly.
But for first year it usually follows the following:

*CA is continuous assessment
8 weeks; 1 week CA1; 1 week holidays
8 weeks; 1 week CA2; 2 weeks mid-year break
8 weeks; 1 week CA3; 1 week holidays
8 weeks; 1 week CA4;
3 weeks study holidays;
2 - 3 weeks Finals;
8 weeks end of the year holidays

and u need to know all of these are subject to change.
