I just applied thru branch and the girl told me if i took combo card (Wise+GSC) will be charged 2 GST = 50+50. Is this true? Or does it actually works the same way as MBB2card (2 card under 1 acc, 1 AF, 1 GST)?

Good to hear this. Congratulation!!

How much did you spent on this card average in a month?
*
Never bother to monitor. Only read 3 lines, how much rebate from mobile, groceries and petrol. Usually 1.2k ~ 1.5k.

Anything more I would swipe my OCBC. OCBC spending higher as mostly used to purchase air tickets for boss, foreign workers, as well as paying for big bills like car servicing, meals, buying gadgets, etc.

Some would recommend me M2C but honestly speaking, not for me. 1st of all, groceries on Saturday sucks without plastic bags, and Sunday too crowded. I also hardly ever go shopping on weekends too due to the same reason. Mostly go on weekdays cause can ask MIL or mom look after young ones for easier shopping.

you can only know after trial. for example, you go to buy something and check your hlb wise statement later on.

Hi, just got my WISE card with a Combo GSC Gold card (up to 55% discount for GSC ticket) as they said both card charge only 1 GST RM50. and it is entitle to be waive if any of the card is swipe within 45 days. smile.gif

Here's my Question, recently my iphone plan is almost up. So I was considering either get a new mobile devices or just sign another 2 years contract with DIGI (Smart Plan 88 and given discount up to RM30 means 50+ if contract 2 years)
But if it is contract normally it will lock a certain amount in CC and charge installment later. Can I know how will this appear in wise card ? I get the installment amount or one shot lock amount or anyone any other advise ?

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if Im wrong though.

Any installment plan lock you with the bank instead of merchant.

Codewise MCC 5411 covers all groceries shop and supermarket, including the supermarket at AEON , Isetan, Sogo etc ... Unless they install an EDC of other department at the supermarket ! blink.gif

normally they will first lock the amount = lowering your credit limit.
then they monthly charge you on the installment amount and release back the amount after your each successful payment.

Yes they are dept. stores but the MCC code they are using does not limit them to just MCC 5311 Departmental Store only.... On most cases they use MCC 5311 for dept store and MCC 5411 for supermarket. But other code exist too.

I registered Hong Leong online and seems like they charged only 1 GST. and the GST can be waive if any of the card is swiped within 45 days (confirm will CS). So I guess this work like MBB2card

when are they going to waived/refund for GST after '3 swipe within 45 days'?

For example my first statement is around mid-jan, can I expect GST 'refund' on second statement?
