I got charged RM21 for retail interest. I don't really like how HLB rip you off.

My OCBC statement came way earlier before 15th each month (billing cycle on 10th) and due on end of the month. HLB billing cycle on 15th, received on 20th or later with end of month due date. Worse if you didn't received or received it too late.

I'm getting RM50 cash rebate. What's that for? GST offset?

I can't remember how many times I reset password for their online banking. Worst experience ever. Tried login, and wrong password. Tried few other possible combi also failed. Went to their ATM to get the E Pin n reset password. The new combi is the one I used frequently, and guess what. Error popped out new password can't be same as old one. Managed to change it n now same problem again.

I think CIMBClicks is the best.

And sometimes I'm forgetful. Paper statement is best as I will see it everyday on my desk.

First time maximize the cash rebate, feels good.

This card is good but does really makes you feel like going for groceries every week and pump half tank every time. Sometimes get the looks why this fella so fast filled up.

Seem like Essential is the right card to replace OCBC Titanium.

it's the same la, OCBC in fact better since petrol spending included as well (Just comparison between HLB Essential and OCBC Tit)
*
Well, why would I want to use that for petrol anyway?

Since I will be using it to pay for my son insurance, buying air tickets for my bosses, etc, unlimited is way better. Sometimes buying up to 10K worth of air tickets in one go. Most of the time, 15-20k per year.

Hence I say it's just comparison of that 2 cards. And OCBC is also unlimited 1%. There's other higher cash rebate card for petrol if so.
*
Where do u find OCBC is 1% unlimited? No mentioning of it anywhere.

Im wondering are we only entitled for CB if the mobile account is under the cardholder's name?
Can I like pay the phone bills on behalf of my parents and siblings too? if that works, then it'll be like 5 transactions settled in a month. haha
*
Going to edit it since it looks a bit too short.

MCC matters, names do not.

If buy directly from sea.taobao.com the taobao original forwarder charge me RMB 36.05+ per kg.
No other hidden charges.
But you still have to send ur item to the local china warehouse first before send over to malaysia.
i used 4px, everythg done automatically with just few clicks.
so far so good, 4-6 business days then receive my items.

But one question why have to x 1.1 again? is it 10% charge from the agent?
*
Nobody do free services. Basically its cheaper to ship but more expensive to buy via agent.

I'm using direct debit through CIMBClicks instead of credit card. Even though it will arrived in less than 4days, but I have to say my experience with the local courier which handle 4PX shipment is disappointing. The company called Airpax located in Batu Caves, FFK me twice on shipment. Firstly, they SMS me but did not turn up. Second time, they called me and still didnt turn up. In the end, I had to call them to leave the item in the office for self pickup.

Maybe I would try to use credit card now if it is really categorized as groceries. Lots of interesting stuffs there.

Very funny lar you guys...

If you are not even using those cards, why bother applying 2nd or 3rd card? At least one week also pump petrol once x RM50 very hard? Groceries also once a week? Then just add your mobile phone and broadband bills already 10 transactions.

Except for the first month and few months that I get RM9x rebate, it has been max and even have to transfer some out to OCBC for those not under the 3 categories. Even have to restrain myself from over-buying cause already spent 2k on the card this month.

Based on what reason would they credit back the Annual Fee ?
GST is charged earlier than Annual Fee, right ?
*
GST is January, annual fee is February.

I don't know. I just call and give a try. Not sure if will be waived or not. Will wait for next month statement. I didn't threaten to cancel or anything. Just simply asking if annual fee can be waived or not. Whatever the outcome, still the best card.

OK, My card will be expired in April 2014, i called up the CS, he told me the annual fee will be charged after 28 Feb...So is it 2 months earlier?

I am not gonna take the risk and i will called up before 28 Feb to cancel my card. Maybe you can verify the CS statement with your own card and update us. thumbup.gif

Im quite sure this is not the case. My card expiry month falls on January, and only the GST was charged. Annual fee was charged the following month.

To avoid GST, then yes. To avoid annual fee, well, I personally hold a few CC before and none charge annual fee before expiry month.
