I'm having this problem several times. Need to hold the button for force stop (press until engine die). So far not having the problem again after remap the ECU.

Mine is from the first batch and it comes with many hiccups. I spent many days at sc to sort out all the hiccups and fortunately all was settled except one. Rattling dashboard. I am worry that they will scratch my dashboard while doing it and I am waiting till sc to have the experience to solve it. So, anyone here solved the rattling dashboard issue and from which sc you went to? And how is their workmanship?
*
Mine fixed at Proton Sec 13, PJ. Requested not to change the part, but to put insulator at the dashboard. This is factory defect, so changing part will not solve the issue unless they redesign this part. Workmanship is very good.

Thank you mat79, the reflash on my 10K service could be "unofficial"? Because nothing was printed on the bill, SA only told me by his mouth, but was indeed feel the big difference.  thumbup.gif  While on 20K service, they indicated software reflashing in the bill, and I don't like this new official setting.  blush.gif
Only the push buttons on the steering wheel loosing and causing noise, I saw a user from a Chinese Preve group on Facebook got his steering wheel replaced due to the same problem with me. Maybe I should mention my problem on my next service.
Are you referring me on this? If you are, then I would like to clarify that, I never do any mod the my car except installed reverse camera. No speaker was changed, no DIY engine mounting, no Firestorms, no Recechip, no German sausage mod etc... Almost 99% stock!  flex.gif  tongue.gif

sorry mr gk lai, browsing too fast and mistaken u for allen for previous post which actually its u. Sorry mr allen for dragging u on this accidently. And one thing, ask them to read is there any trouble code for cvt and ask them to reflash the cvt adaptation software again n retune ecu(reset).

I hope they will sort the dash rattling probs with vendor cause the dash is already fit togther by vendor, the assembly line just fit the whole dash to its mounting. But still prtn is responsible to cater the problem cause customer already did complaint at service centre n it suppose to be inside the computer systems@some service centre dont report it to hq....i wonder...

Are newer units also rattling or this only for early adopter?

My preve IAFM+ CVT clocked 1500km now.

before 1000 service, my fuel consumption can go down as low as 7.8km/100km. Now, the same driving style fuel consumption is stick at 8.6km/100km no matter how i drive. I thought after service the consumption should be lower? but in fact it goes up. Also, I don't think my preve did update any software during 1k service. My model is 2012 model with series number 4xxx. Is this a lot of problem with this badge?

Bro.. First of all I think you made a mistakes on calculating your FC. Do you mean 7.8km / litter? If that is the case, then the more the better because for every litter of Fuel you go longer distance.

If you are saying 7.8L / 100km then is different case. If you're having 7.8L or in fact 8.6L / 100KM. You instead have quite a good consumption with only 0.14 and 0.16 cents / KM using RON95 which is a good thing - Almost like Vios FC.

Ya I made a mistake. It is actually 8.6L / 100km. So yesterday I pump in full tank. The reading show I can go 700km to empty tank with Ron 95 @ RM 76

I'm not sure whether is high as before this I can get 7.8L/100km. But it seems i manage to get a good fuel consumption.

please check whether they change the the same rating oil coz factory fitting oil is mineral 10w 30.

2ndly, check whether u r checking the average fc@instance one, n remember to reset it coz the reading will be average of since day one unless u reset it.

3rdly, just probability, even with same driving habit n route, but its not the same idling time coz idling time also can cause up to 30% diff in fc(including idling at traffic which not the same everyday), so,there willl be a plus minus for every fc.1 to 2 litre plus minus, is normal.

4thly, another way to get better mileage that even me dont do it nowadays is to wind up windows, driving less than 90kmh :-). Have u guys try this out in cfe? Its efficient, but not comfortable. Thats why i never suggest this method. But for fun sake to check how much the compressor take out the power n fc, give it a try for a full tank.

OMG! Please don't say sorry, you are here helping out... biggrin.gif thumbup.gif
Will note down your suggestion and request them to check those in my next service.
By the way, don't know if they willing to listen to my request?

Do you mean if we got 11L/100km for previous tank, then got 12L or 13L/100km for the next tank, this is consider normal? I find my FC number fluctuate so high recently. sweat.gif

Driving less than 90km/h is ok, but wind up windows with the air-cond switched OFF is hard to achieve, haha...! laugh.gif
