last sunday, when i want to accelerate my car( means step pedal harder). My gear suddenly from D-mode goes to 1. and it keeps on like that til i fully stop the car. Then it becomes normal.
May i know whats wrong wit my car? this problem looked quite serious and dangerous to me as a driver

no. i did not. i double check my gearbox when i saw the gear turn to 1 from D on the bar screen. Thats y i feel weird.

i think what mr jayworm mean is that accidently pressed paddle shift paddle at steering and still in d mode at gear shifter coz even if u r in d mode,not using the tip shift at gear lever(slot to left to enter full manual mode), u still shift it using paddle shift. just double check,if that not the case,then need to send for check up the tcu.

please check whether they change the the same rating oil coz factory fitting oil is mineral 10w 30.

2ndly, check whether u r checking the average fc@instance one, n remember to reset it coz the reading will be average of since day one unless u reset it.

3rdly, just probability, even with same driving habit n route, but its not the same idling time coz idling time also can cause up to 30% diff in fc(including idling at traffic which not the same everyday), so,there willl be a plus minus for every fc.1 to 2 litre plus minus, is normal.

4thly, another way to get better mileage that even me dont do it nowadays is to wind up windows, driving less than 90kmh :-). Have u guys try this out in cfe? Its efficient, but not comfortable. Thats why i never suggest this method. But for fun sake to check how much the compressor take out the power n fc, give it a try for a full tank.

By the way 1k service I used syntium 1000 full synthetic i guess as recommended by the SC.

I don't think they do any reset ECU / TCU, tuning for my car during 1k service. As I went there on Saturday.

Was told Saturday only can do oil change. So I guess no tuning will be perform.

Syntium 1000 15W50? That oil is too thick. Proton recommends 10W30. So it is better to use Syntium 800 10W30 semi compared to Syntium 1000 fully.

As a guide, use xW30 or xW40, either fully or semi. Personally I am using Syntium 5000 0W30 fully. 10,000km OCI (oil change interval)

wah.use syntium 5000 ...me nxt service will use syntium 3000,buy already..sc dont have this grade of fully oil,they only have syntium 1000 fully
