I am often asked which display is nicer : S4 or HTC One. I'd say both phones display look great and is up to your own taste. I love both of it. But I find the HTC One display is brighter

the S4 has better contrast, i think due to AMOLED. reminds me so much of Canon vs Nikon lol.

No doubt AMOLED color more accurate but in the same time abit over saturated. I dont think SLCD 3 color is wash out but due to the brightness though.
off topic : That life companion words will be there forever at lock screen? |
