the S4 has better contrast, i think due to AMOLED. reminds me so much of Canon vs Nikon lol.

But Amoled screens seems to always show fake and inaccurate colours. Prefer SLCD3 more.

You can choose to disable it and if you wish there are 2 choices : ripple or light effect. Never like such stuffs and have it disabled

Generally that is what most people say and I do agree with it
But if you look at the S4 colors vs the actual wallpaper - its colors are in fact more accurate than the HTC One ( probably due to its brighter effect, colors tone down)

It's because AMOLED screen are always more saturated.
Some people prefer it that way.

Yesterday I went to a Samsung store and test the S4 for just 1-2 minute. Seems like S3, minus the lagginess. Maybe the lag ppl mention will come when use more heavy functions. Anyway what strike me the most is how light it is. It feels no heavier then holding a couple of 50cent coin. Way too light for me...

All Samsung phones are ridiculously light due to the plastic material.

To catch the most accurate colour on screen is to snap picture of human for instance. DON'T compare it on computer screen with your phone because different brand of monitor (computer) has different outcome.
ONLY compare your phone screen to the actual object you shoot. For example, human skin, leaves or anything else. Whether it looks oversaturated (over-contrast) compare to actual object ; skin color, or the other way round. Of course, some of people prefer this with "stunning" colours, but i don't. You'll get "shock" with the actual picture taken when put it on screen to see how big different on screen with the "fake" colour on phone screen. The best to view the most accurate colour on computer is using MAC. smile.gif

Hey guys, since i missed rayfoo's groupbuy for this, i'll have this up here.

http://www.spigen.com/htc-one-case-ultra-thin-air.html

We'll share the shipping fee.

Would be base price, roughly between RM67~75 depending on forex rates on the day.. then + shipping, divided between involved individuals, be it only you and me or others if there's anyone else who's interested. Then once i have the products, i'll put on a PM, and if we need to COD(I live in Bukit Jalil) or to post, then i'll request cash for postage.

If anyone is interested, drop me a PM. I'll make the order on the 1st of May.

Thanks!

Just copy pasting from previous post, to see if anyone else is interested. More details in PM soon. Cheers.

For myself, saturated high contrast is good for live wallpapers and general theming. For photography you don't want that lol
