Thanks bros.Another Q. how does this affect port forwarding?
*
you will use ur dynamic domain rather than IP. This is to connect to ur modem (like for cctv viewing). But you need a modem capable of updating IP address to the dynamic dns server. Most 3rd party router support most of the DDNS services. Other than that, nothing change for setting up port forward. There maybe a delay when you router change IP to become live on ur domain.. Maybe 5-10 minutes..

Been bugging Maxis on my Red LOS issue. No updates at all. Called and tweeted, still nothing. Anyone have any other solutions?

Desperate to terminate it after 4 month of usage on this 148 package, really cant tahan they throttle the torrent speed all day long now.. (before that the throttling was only start after 8pm, but since I make a complaint & show them my download speed on utorrent, they just fu*ked up my speed even worst, how stupid am I..), what use of 10mbps if cant download?? Really regret to subscribe, do u guys stastify with the service so far? Am I the only one sufferer? Reaally think about to pay the 500RM penalty fee instead of remaning contract monthly fees..

just use a vpn....it can go up 700kb++

The details appear correct. Is your phone line up and working yet from your home modem?
*
it was working. until i messed with the IP. hehe...

before i messed up, I backed up the original configuration and saw the password was indeed my accountnumber + 1.

i wonder why it didnt work.

i'll go home tonight and restore my orig config file and see if it works on the modem.

thanks.

Loading of pages and images seem to be a little bit slow (especially images). Anyone else, or is it just me?

"Kindly note that currently our Maxis Home Fibre Internet still offers Unlimited data quota until further notice, hence there is no volume capping enforced yet. Nevertheless, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) traffic is throttled to 500Kbps during peak hours between 8PM - 2AM everyday. This applies to certain softwares or applications using P2P such as Bit Torrent, eDonkey, Gnutella or Limewire and does not effect normal browsing activity."

recommended to register via maxis directly...

i registered via agent, and there is waiting time for the agent to submit the form.
normally they will accumulate a sum of form before they send it out...
i donno my luck is bad or wat.... my form ended up missing somewhere in between sad.gif
wasted 1month waiting for nothing... and hv to re-register again
