RM 170 includes

1. from outside pole to back of my house wall (the black line + the termination point thingy - gray color 1 (free))
2. from outside wall drill one hole ngam ngam above my ceiling then lay the fiber cable + microconduit (cover for fiber) then to my room (just the fiber)
3. they will then use the hook to hold the fiber cable (something like white hook + nail - if you have astro, u will know) to nail it to the wall, less clutter that way

RM 170 cash give to unifi contractor for item 2 and 3. Above 15m got extra charge. Calculate per meter.

hmm i think i have the same installation like you but both contractor they didnt charge a single cent to me.

198.105.222.114

Hi there. I just got Maxis Fibre 3 days ago.

I need some help setting up VOIP. I am using sipdroid and getting "Registration failed (401 Unauthorized)" error.

Below is the info I entered:
Authorization Username: 037497xxxx
Password: 037497xxxx1 or 16525yyyyyxxxx (billing account number + last 4 digits phone number)
Server: bvgw01.maxis.com.my
Domain: homesip.maxis.com.my
Port: 5060
Protocol: UDP
Use: WLAN/3G/Edge

I am wondering if Maxis has started to change the password format...
Help is appreciated. Thanks.

hello there maxis fibre users, i got a few questions:

1)throttle to how much? at night only?

2) online gaming experience dota 2/steam game mainly. any lags/delay/spike? average ping is how much.

my area is bukit tunku if thats help.

i intend to switch from 5mbp unfi to maxis astro iptv. as thats easir, pay in one bill, more benefit and mainly a lot cheaper. but scare if switching will gave me a hard time. i dont expect it to be perfect tip top, a few maintainance here and there is understandable.

any thoughts sifus? thanks

this has been discussed to death many times. Gamers stay away from maxis fiber. Period.

Unifi dont throttle but Streamyx does. That is the good thing with Unifi.
