Guys, can you help me out here. I am deciding between Premium and Standard.

1.) How is the window tinting on the Premium version, is it good enough to withstand the heat these past weeks or we're better getting our tinting done outside?
2.) Is there a difference between getting the car from Proton Edar directly or Proton's dealer?

60km/h not a problem

yeah thats right

my manual cps average 40-50km/h only

I am fine with that speed as long as it is able to go all the way up

just got my exora bold standard yesterday, my complain is the front plate number holder fell down.. luckily i was at my home at that time. then i see that they just use double sided tape to hold the plate number casing...



is it supposed to be like this? I thought it was supposed to be screwed or what at the car?

Sorry to hear that...ya...u should make an official complaint to proton..from my past experience owning a proton with lots of problem..id say you need make alot of noice in order for them to take your case seriously.

Sorry to say sometimes Proton salesman is plain stupid or think we are stupid. Yesterday I went to one showroom for fun. Asked the salesman if there is any promotion and he said no discount. Showing my face how desperate I wanted Exora, then he said RM1, 000 discount from his own pocket but need pay booking fee RM1,000.

When I show him PE website asking explanation, he kept quiet. I just walk out shaking head.

Where u staying sampo? If sumwhere near cheras..go checkout proton at conought..they offered me 4.5k discount and their service quite oke..but I guess its too soon to telll cuz I havnt get the car yet..

from what i see from the screen, that's the price for jan 2013 no? my dealer said after proton put in reverse sensor at the exora bold standard, the price has increased a bit

btw i bought mine without any discount... but got my exora quite fast, only about a week after my loan has been approved

Isn't delivery time is 1 week from loan approval? Don't think there is no stock story unless the SA playing drama again.

BTW, the price list I gotten is in Jun 2013

they are difference between dealer and proton sa when talk about discount and delivery.anyway as long as u r happy with either one then will be good.

i got my car after 3weeks since loan signed, i even called to proton after sales service hotline for my order. n it did out of stock!
