u sure can fit 234 n 245? have u test it? or just your theory...hmmm.. unsless you -ve the chamber n do hellaflush.. stil, 235.245 to wide lor..

+1 you are correct, i;ve already tried 225 with my previous lenso rim 17" 40/38 offset, the tyre rubbing the rear absorber due to the tyre too wide for the offset. i think if offset 35 or below should be ok for 225, but for 235 or 245, im not sure can fit exora, it is too wide, even if you are doing -ve camber.

the safest is ofset 38 n above n max is 7.5j only.. if want to use 8j must use 205 n below tyres..hmm..but still need to roll/ketuk fender-wheelarch..35 can, need to make -ve chhamber kaw2

yup true, but dont forget if using 35offset, and doing -ve camber kaw2, you have to worry the top inner side of the rim will touch ur coilover.

btw, im doing fender rolling diy just using wood baseball bat lol. no paint chip

received my EB std yesterday, noticed there is this burned smell everytime i exited from the car, is there something wrong?

and the sound of the blower when i off the engine, sometimes it hummed for a few minutes, other time it just quiet. am i the only one with this condition?

burned smell im not sure, maybe because it just new.

while the humming sound is because of the radiator fan. it will keep turn on if the engine is hot even after u turn off ur engine. this is normal, to cool down your engine and turbine. most car with turbo have this features.

This is quite normal....
I also had this burnt smell during few days and also enquired with SC. They said it might be the Anti rust paint (or something) from the Exhaust pipe which is giving this type of smell....
So you might be having the same thing only....

As what calmshot shared, the sound after stopping the engine is from the fan (to cool the Oil).
According to SC, the Auto Cooler trigers On only when the temperature is higher than 86 degree.
That means, the Cooler will not start, if the engine temp is not going higher than this. And once it is above 100degree, the Cooler mode goes to the 2nd level whereby you will be hearing louder sound of the Fan running.
And you may not hear this when you are going for long trips, as it gets enough air circulation which maintains the tempreture below the triggering point.

So no worries... enjoy your ride.....

new owner of eb cfe standard reporting in, need some advise from sifu here.

1, the front seat rocking abit can claim warranty?
2, sometime when turning wheel, steering shaft have squeaks sound, is it normal?
3, my steering crooked to the right abit, is it alignment problem?
4, my eb is standard steering, if i bought the preve / exora premium steering will the button, auto cruise, and shift paddle work on with eb standard?

Just to share with you regarding your query 4.
My earlier ride was M Line CPS and I brought it to the SC enquiring to install the Fog light for me.
But even though I bought the Switch Console, I couldn't get it connected as the Wiring was not avail.
The SC informed me that the M Line comes with minimum wiring.
I also enquired about the Cruise control; and the SC personal was saying that the whole wiring have to be changed inorder to do that.
So please check.

EXORA CFE STILL WORTH to BUY ? Since read many defect from this thread.

if u have more budget, go buy estima or wish.. if u dunt have, buy an EB.. dunt compare the quality.. 1 estima recon can buy 2 new EB.. try to think 4 it..

Not worth it la, buy avanza better. no defect at all, toyota mang, where got problem and defect?, and good resale value summore, vvt-i (exora only got turbo), 4 speed auto (exora dont have gear ratio, using cvt so infite only ), no air cond at every row, fuhh cun. same price with exo EB CFE premium.


so my point is, every car got defect not all perfect, most of exora eb defect has been rectified on the new batch, i didnt see any major problem happen from owner unless from the 1 st batch, but all problem has already been solved. only couple of minor problem that still happen, this is normal, even if you buy other brand also u will face some minor prob.

for me, the price at rm80k for premium and 67k for standard justified enough with all the features u have with exora bold cfe.

unless if you have more budget, just get toyota estima btw it is ur money, spend wisely
