Does anyone of you have this problem with using the HU?

Car audio system tune to HU FM frequency in order to playback audio.

When playing DVD video, the sound is audible but there is a lot of hissing and crackling.

This sound is similar to sound you get when you are tuning your radio FM manually and a few frequency off (e.g. you're at 92.7 tuning to 92.9 hitz.fm).

Just thinking whether is there any wiring hardness ready for the steering volume control in Standard CFE...?
Not sure about this. Maybe anyone can clarify this.

I have gone through the HU manual and don't recall being able to set the HU's frequency.

When you power on the HU, the frequency is displayed briefly on the screen and it is 88.1 on mine.

Is yours 88.1 as well? Do you know if it can be configured?

there's a button on the remote, showing Channel IINM, press that and it should go to next available channel.

U can change the frequency... if not mistaken got at least 10 frequency... check ur LCD manual....

hahahaa... confuse... is Head Unit or LCD setting???

I got the HU terminology from the ICE subforum, perhaps I am using the wrong terminology I am referring to the LCD unit

Here in Bintulu, only 2k rebate and no discount....Maybe due to less volume sell compare to peninsular....Plus no free gift... Only standard assessories as flyers....

In my search at Johor, the rebates are at most 2k, given by Proton itself. Only in Selangor/Klang Valley can I get more. I guess this is the benefits of competition.

Going to take the plunge soon. Hopefully can close the deal tomorrow
