FYI, we dont have such products multisocket + lan (RJ45) designed yet, but we only have SF9512MS2+3 which got multisocket + modem (RJ11), so the only best option now for u is SD-4C, but only 1 power socket. but i will forward ur request to HQ to check whether the got customized version available yet, otherwise depend on them whether they can design new products for u but will time consuming...

actually plug ordinary multi power socket on cal-lab devices wont effect the protection level, cal-lab devices still able to protect  the equipments which plugged on the multi power socket with proper installation...

hope my reply can satisfy u... smile.gif

I know its still protected but in any office, the concern is on space saving and integrated. so if i can get something with min. 3 plugs and 1 cat5e it would be great. let me know if they have such product.

PIECE-MEAL protection is precisely we what are trying so hard to AVOID.
If this request were only for a work station, then SL-MS2+3 or Twin-Power Pack plus SLAN1236 should do.

the size of the cal-lab product spend too much spaces... it quite handy and light as well too... so far i using 2 cal-lab produtcs for my pc and take the photo for u as well, the sizes for the SLAN1236 and SF9512(size similiar to SLMS2+3 but sligthly thicker) and SLMS2+3 got 5 power sockets - 2*3pin & 3*2pin power sockets

Note: sorry for blur picture because using an "outdated" webcam smile.gif

SLAN1236 (hanging behind the pc like a cable, wont spend any space, smaller than liquid paper)

SF9512 (around triple size of liquid paper)

SP9201DSL, Protect:T -> RRP:RM29, No Discount

Can I protect my modem by using SP9201DSL while the power of my modem is already protected?

SF9512DSL, Protect:PT -> RRP:RM79, 15%off, Now:RM68

Can COD at Wangsa Maju or some place near?
Or any other store tat offer it?

SF9512DSL-MS2 (CU version), Protect:PT - > RRP:RM93 (Stop Production For Moment, Upgrading To Support ADSL2)

How the SF9512DSL-MS2 looks like?

SF9512DSL-MS2+3, Protect:PT -> RRP:RM89, 15%off, Now:RM76

Y SF9512DSL-MS2+3 cheaper than SF9512DSL-MS2 geh? Since it has more features.

Question: Can I protect my modem by using SP9201DSL while the power of my modem is already protected?
Answer: if u ensure tat the power line is protecting ur pc very well or u using UPS, u can use SP9201DSL to protect ur the telephone line...

Question: Can COD at Wangsa Maju or some place near? Or any other store tat offer it?
Answer: i not too familiar tat places, but the best i can do is COD at KLCC or lowyat, otherwise i can post for u without extra charges... we have plenty of dealers around klang valley but not sure whether wangsa maju have any shops selling it, plus cal-lab HQ cant ensure tat they providing professional services for u, futhermore mostly they sell few common models only....

Question: How the SF9512DSL-MS2 looks like?
Answer: the right hand side of the picture

Question: Y SF9512DSL-MS2+3 cheaper than SF9512DSL-MS2 geh? Since it has more features.
Answer: SF9512DSL-MS2+3 is a mass productions, means a common product... but the SF9512DSL-MS2 is a Customized Version to suit with the future internet requirement and specially designed, it is more future proof is u want to upgrade ur internet to ADSL2 in future. A company at Penang (i think is Motorola company if not remember wrong) is testing the Customized Version before it sell into market... Thats why the reasons the SF9512DSL-MS2 is more expensive than SF9512DSL-MS2+3

it still able to protect ur equipment if u plugged the extension power sockets on it, but ensure tat dont overload the ability of SC0039 since it only can support till 10A and the power wire not too long between equipments and cal-lab devices, because longer wire will have higher chances to get the static if the ligthning striked near ur building...

however, what equipments tat u want to protect? if all the equipments were high power consumption, not too recommended tat all equipments rely on 1 unit...

I don't think I'll be taking 2 of the SFTV 9822FC. Just one. Apparently the surge protector for our tv room isn't so good tongue.gif

Sp the order now is

1 SFTV9822FC and 1 SF9512DSL MS2+3

biggrin.gif

So how much is it for both sir?

But before that, do I have any other options? Or are those the best ones?

Thanks ! smile.gif

other options for SFTV9822FC
Older Designer Products
SFTV9622FC (RM85) dont not mulitsocket feature on it
SFTV9622FC (RM92) have mulitsocket feature on it
conclusion: perhaps ur tv set already have the extension cord, u just plug the power plug onto new desinged SFTV9822FC, and then SFTV9822FC plug onto wall socket... DONE... smile.gif i using SFTV9822FC on my house tv set and astro too, the signal wont reduce after use it...

other options for SF9512DSL MS2+3
SF9512DSL (RM68) dont not mulitsocket feature on it
conclusion: better stick with mulitsockets to get life easier... smile.gif

tat should not problem, very low power consumption smile.gif

but if u want to play safe, u have other option:
NILI9920F (10A) have the fuse feature
SL-AR (3A) will auto reset (auto off the power when detected ligthning) and for sensitive equipments

SLMS4 : it only used as a power supply... if u have other CLLI products and plug them on it, because SLMS4 can support higher voltage... can said tat the Power Line is protected by isolator methods, not using Features to protect...

the product below is more for standalone equipments
SC0039, protect: P-Air-cond/Fridge/copier, features: null (but power line protected)
NILI9920F, protect: PF-Fridge/M-wave/freezer, feature: fuse
SL-AR, protect: P-sensitive equipment/fridge(3A), features: auto reset

since u use for normal equipments, any of them will work for u...
perhaps SL-MS2+3 and MDSD0039 can consider into...

Question: Do they have the same featues? Just that the SF9512DSL-MS2+3 has more extension?
Answer: Yup, same features but more extension sockets... SF9512DSL only have 1*3pin power socket; SF9512DSL-MS2+3 have 2*3pin and 3*2pin power socket...

Question: By the way, how do we use the ground wire on the SP9201DSL, SP9201DAF. where to plug it?
Answer: there have a grounding cable attached on SP9201DAF, but not sure abt the SP9201DSL, too much products have to remember sweat.gif ... but u hv to DIY urself to ground the cable on ur 3pin power plug's earth pin and u can extend the grounding cable's length urself...

Question: So can COD at KLCC? Or how long does the posting takes?
Answer: if by post perhaps around 3-7days, will use poslaju...

gkl83, does CAL-LAB got any outlet in Kuching? Reason to ask is i suppose the cut-off threshold are set to be very minimum/sensitive so as to isolate lightning effectively, that is if i need to sent the "striked" unit, then i would have to post it all the way back for a RM25 exchange? sweat.gif
