Hi gkl83,

Thanks for delivery in Mid-valley. Connected up and working ok. Don't worry about the yellow base. The whole isolator goes under my table anyway.

Very good bulk supplier.

cal-lab dont have such designed product yet, it is difficult to design a product can support for different devices (cat5 and phone)... so hv to buy separately...

if u expected to use a product for modem too, the maximum number power socket only have 2 X 3pin and 3 X 2pin... but u can plug multi socket on to cal-lab devices, but u must ensure tat only cal-lab devices gain the power from wall socket only...

i quote the equipment for u, several option for u...

option1
SD-4C (RM76) : use for each pc and each lan cable, only support 5A current
SP9201 (RM29) : use for each telephone analogue line only

option2
SLAN1236 (RM36) : use for each lan cable
SF9812 (RM76) : use for each pc and each telephone and fax machine, only support 5A current

option3
SLMS4 (RM68) : use for pc 4 power socket power line, but can support 13A
SP9201 (RM29) : use for each telephone line
SLAN1236 (RM36) : use for each lan cable

if 50 unit i can go to ur office to assemble for u, have a proper installation for u and price negotiable... smile.gif where is ur places... perhaps i can go to ur office have a look 1st before take the stock for u... and i can take a unit from each of them 1st let ur pc to try out the performance before u buy large quantity...

but if u need the multi extension socket, i can try to contact the hardware shop which near by cal-lab office, get bulk price for u...

FYI, we dont have such products multisocket + lan (RJ45) designed yet, but we only have SF9512MS2+3 which got multisocket + modem (RJ11), so the only best option now for u is SD-4C, but only 1 power socket. but i will forward ur request to HQ to check whether the got customized version available yet, otherwise depend on them whether they can design new products for u but will time consuming...

actually plug ordinary multi power socket on cal-lab devices wont effect the protection level, cal-lab devices still able to protect the equipments which plugged on the multi power socket with proper installation...

hope my reply can satisfy u... smile.gif

Hey, recommend something for this usage:

laptop + mp3 player charging + modem (internal - my laptop) + desktop + printer + speakers.

Thanks man! smile.gif

edit: I don't think I need that many sockets sweat.gif

About 1 for phone line and 3 or 4 sockets enough lar. I need something that can ensure my laptop would be protectod under whatever circumstances. Especially via the phone line coz I've been told that the phone line is the most common source of power overload.

Thanks again! smile.gif

SF9512DSL MS2+3 will work for u... it got 2*3pin and 3*2pin power socket...
3pin (1): desktop
3pin (2): laptop

2pin (1): printer
2pin (2): speaker
2pin (3): (perhaps for ur mp3 charger if it was 2pin)

Wow. Very prompt reply smile.gif

Anyway, I've edited my post. None of my equipment is a two pin actually sweat.gif

The most slot you have for that particular model (the 3 pin one) is 2 is it?

If that's the case, can I connect another extension cord to it and thus, increase the amount of slots I have? Would the lightning isolation be as effetive if I were to do that?

Thanks biggrin.gif

Question : The most slot you have for that particular model (the 3 pin one) is 2 is it?
Answer : Yes

FYI, there dun have any problem by plug the extension cord to increase to slots, wont decrease the effective level of the cal-lab devices

jz ensure tat all of the power sources and telephone line must pass thru the cal-lab device before the source reach ur equipments...

u have 2 options
SF9512DSL (RM68) - only have 1*3pin power socket, but u can plug extension cord
SF9512DSL MS2+3 (RM76) - u only can use 2*3pin power socket since u said not 2pin equipments

difference & conclusion : u can pay another RM8 for to get another 3 pin power socket tongue.gif

Cool. Stock available?

I'm just wondering...Is it possible to COD on the 21st at MV? Coz if it's possible, then I can COD there when I'll be COD-ing for another (possibly two other) items tongue.gif

If not poslaju is fine as well. Erm..How much is the insurance for this one and how does it work? Do I have to pay the RM 5/RM10 yearly or how?

erm... i try to plan... perhaps can dating with my gf at there when tat day and can COD to u too, but sure get scold by my gf whether come to MV for dating or business... lol...

where u stay? i can COD immediately to u after i got the stock if u can COD along the LDP or sunway or shah alam... otherwise i can postage for u without any charges and pack neatly for u, and also post to u within this week if possible smile.gif

the insurance is used to claim ur equipment if striked by ligthning even plugged the cal-lab devices with proper installation too... the HQ will assign a engineer go to ur house to investigate to check whether is it the cal-lab fail to protect, if really fail to protect, u can claim RM5k/RM10k accoring the how much insurance u paid yearly...

actually CEO not recommended customer to buy insurance also because a lot of procedures need to follow and time consuming, plus he confrim tat his products can 99.9% protecting ur equipment safely, only the cal-lab will burnt if the ligthning too strong to ground into earth...

Haha. Like a bit mafan for you lar if do at MV like that. So never mind lah.

So regarding the insurance thingy..It's a yearly thing I assume...Right? If I have to pay RM 5 yearly, I think I'll skip it then. Too troublesome sumore have to investigate and stuff sweat.gif

When will you have the stock anyway? I'm gonna ask HQ for sponsorship on this one tongue.gif
