1) it is recommended to ground cable onto the earth pin to provide the best protection... u can buy a plain 3 pin power socket at any DIY hardware shop and then u connect the green cable onto the earth pin, then u plug the socket to any wall socket... otherwise u can unscrew other equipment's 3pin power socket tat u using and connect to cable onto earth pin... but i recommend u to buy another 3pin power socket, bcos afraid u did some mistake if u unscrew the equipment's 3pin power socket...

2) yes. but the warranty not means u can exchange another unit for FOC. bcos the lightning will occur anytime, maybe once u plug the unit onto equipment but lightning striked tat time, tat not means defect product, it protecting ur equipment effectively... if ur units damaged, bring along ur damaged unit to us and pay another RM10-RM25 (depend on models), then we will exchange another working unit immediately and on the spot... if the sp9201DAF damaged, pay another RM15 and we give u another unit immediately

3) if u buy a unit, i wont earn much leh, so cant give too much discount...
if u buy more than few units, will give u discount automatically...

4) SP9201DAF = micro filtter+spliter (bundled with ADSL modem)
there are not necessary to plug another ordinary micro filtter+spliter onto it...
so far dun hv any complain from customer, we did the QA well for each products, we will make sure the quality before market it... even after u bought it and u unsatisfied, u can provide ur feedback for us, we will reimprove our products again...

5) what is ur ETA means?

conclusion: the SP9201DAF only protecting ur telephone line, but the power line is not protected... so perhaps the lightning surge will come from power line and strike ur psu directly even u plugged the SP9201DAF... if u intend to get tat model and dun want to protect telephone, i would recommend u to get SF9512DSL or SF9512DSL MS2+3 instead, sure 99.9% ur pc will be protected

actually currently i am using the Trinity it pack liao la, i am just looking for a separate unit for phone line tat got adsl filter.

regarding ur suggestion of grounding, its a good idea never tot of it before of grounding it tat way. but my room onli got 1 outlet onli la and tat outlet use liao to power the trinity. so got any other way of grounding??? is it compulsory to do grounding for the protection to work??? or it can also be use without grounding??

u can ground th cable on the trinity pack 1... bcos trininty also got the grounding features like sp9201daf, even the lightning strike the sp9201daf wont harm the trininty pack... or perhaps u can unscrew the trininty pack's 3pin power socket and located the ground cable...

u can without grounding the cable, but the protection level will decrease... it not design to absord the lightning (even ordinary ligthning arrestor not design to absord ), so if u placed the grounding cable, sp9201 will transfer the lightning surge to earth effecient if it can overcome the surge... if over the limitation, sp9201daf will burn itself rather than "forcing" transfer to earth...

not, it cant support well...
it only design for ordinary telephone system, it will decrease the protection level and signal quality if use for modem... only the SF9512 series or IT pack can support ADSL...
telephone is analog system; modem is a digital system

Answer: both of them different things.
AR = analog (telephone), D = Digital (56k dialup modem), DSL = ADSL (Stremyx connection)

Answer : all of the cal-lab products bundled with the neccessary cables... if SF9512 bundled telephone line; if SFTV9822 bundled with aerial cable, F type cable (astro) and telephone line... it is free hassle to get another extra hardwares to connect cal-lab and ur equipments together once u bought the cal-lab product

Answer : SF9812 is depend on SKPX module, we replace the SKPX module only with another new module if it get burnt... however if SF9512 get burnt, we have to replace the whole units because there dont have any service-able parts...

What is this Full-Isolation FC-module in Satellite-Pack?

it means the satelite feature have it own module, increase protection level because it design specifically to protect satelite (astro) only...

if the AV pack, the satelite will rely on the module which sharing with the antenna, telephone and power feature...
