bump bump bump...

i apologize to miliardo83 and CooBra that i cant COD to them ytday which i promised them...

because the HQ requested the office ytday to return the all of the SF9512-DSL stocks that available in storeroom, they need to modified the current SF9512-DSL to support the TMnet's higher boardband speed, they perhaps will launch the 2mbps speed or adsl2 connection soon.... in order to satisfy the cal-lab users and reduce the complaint, office forced to return stock and cant COD...

actually i can get the current SF9512-DSL for miliardo83 and CooBra ytday, but i hope wont get compaint from them and can get higher speed of broadband when using it, so i postponed the COD... hope they can like Cal-Lab products as well

The modified SF9512-DSL will be arrive the office when monday(17-04)... i will COD when monday... cheers...

Note: any1 purchase the SF9512-DSL from any outlets now, 99% was not the modified version... bcos the modified version will arrived on next mon to our office showroom tongue.gif

perhaps u can try to plug the telephone line into the SF9512, try to make a call to ur hp or anywhere... if u not able to make any call thru it, so is the SF9512 telephone port dead and mostly cause by ligthning...

pls bring a long ur damaged unit to our showroom or bring it to me with addtional RM25 charges (actual price was RM79), we will exchange another new working unit for u...

pls tell me what equpiments u gonna to protect...

i have to network equipment interlink'd which each other via cat5 cable. both equipment were damaged by lighning strike a month ago. the surge came from the cat5 links. So i was wondering if these units could do the job. let me know
pls specific ur whole set of pc equipments, plenty of networking equpiment now... tat why cal-lab designed various models for suit with any requirements
example:
telephone -> modem router -> switch -> pc(s)
also tell me the distance between those equipments as well...

but if u want only to protect the cat5 cable, not too recommended u bcos the power surge will come from power line also... i hope u can 99.9% protected by using the proper cal-lab products... bcos i need detail info from u is give u the best recommendation and make sure u will not buy wrong products... smile.gif
