Hi gkl83,
Interested in the SF9512DSL model. Can I connect an extension cord with 5 x 13A sso to the above? The total load will be less than 1Kw (2 computers, 1 DSL router modem and 2 monitors). If yes, what is the max. distance between the extension sso and SF9512 outlet? Can COD near OUG area?
Thanks

How is SF9512DSL-MS2+3 connected. Is there 2 power socket bases? Any discount? Can you COD in ex-Hong Kong shopping centre (Pearl Point)?

Hi gkl83,
Thanks for delivery in Mid-valley. Connected up and working ok. Don't worry about the yellow base. The whole isolator goes under my table anyway.
Very good bulk supplier.

Please check your pm for COD venue.
Does SFTV9622FC also protect antenna input as well as Astro satellite dish input?

Received the SFTV9622FC this morning. Visually inspected to be ok. However there are two complains:
1. The coaxial cables should be a bit longer. I understand that the SFTV9622FC should be as near as the equipment to be protected as possible but 1.5 m should not be a problem. The cables supplied are only 1 m long.
2. Cal-Lab should supply RG-6 satellite coaxial cable (2.4 GHz) instead of the 75 ohm 3C2V coaxial cable for Astro input. 3C2V cable is only good for antenna signal (VHF & UHF) and cannot carry high GHz frequency (Astro) signal.
Anyway the above can be solved by putting in a bit of extra cash in getting the RG-6 cable (for Astro) and a longer 3C2V cable (for antenna). The important thing is that I can rest assure that my electronic audio & video epuipment now are well protected with the SFTV9622FC.
Thanks for the prompt delivery.

Oops, my full text was not posted.
My comments (should use this word instead of complains) on the coaxial cables are trivial matters. I was even surprised that Cal-Lab provides coaxial cables with the isolator. However, I don't feel comfortable that the last mile cable is downgraded from RG-6 to 3C2V. In fact, the slight signal loss is noticeable on my flat panel TV (S-Video connection) and to make matter worst, I've connected an AV composite cable from the Astro decoder to a capture card in my computer which sits 4 meter from the decoder. I replaced the 3C2V cable with a 2m length RG-6 cable with ToP as end F connectors. The total cost is only RM6 and problem solved.
One suggestion is that if the coaxial cables need to be short, then why not lengthen the power cable so that the isolator can be near the equipment it is protecting?
One last question. Nowadays, there were news reports that cable theft in TNB substations are rampant. If the star point earth cable of the transformer is stolen, the floating neutral will cause voltage surges (as high as 400v) which can damage electronic equipment. Is Cal-Lab lightning isolators protect equipment from these power surges?
