I have never played with fixed lens camera before, but i almost got the x100 last time... Now the x100s is much improved... I think i go with x100s and later xe2 is out then consider xe2... Nice?

wow, after a month ago i logged in right now fuji x series are united in one thread.  rclxms.gif
when got my x100, i never turned back to dslr i used to play. if i got extra money and stuck
between xe1 or x100s, undoubtedly i would go for x100s.

Hey x e 1 brethren! How hard is it to manually focus using the xe1? Does it have focus area magnification. I heard the x pro has 3x 7x and 10x mag. Is it the same for the xe1? I don't feel like getting the nex 7 anymore. Color is very important to me and nex camera just don't get the color right. So I got myself a couple of manual focus lens and I'm wondering if I can reliably focus using the xe1.

PS – Already, for me, the X100s is MUCH more enjoyable to use than either of the X bodies just due to the fact that the AF is now up to par with cameras like the OM-D and other speedy AF cameras. So just for that I thank Fuji but I knew this had to be coming. I think the X100s will be a huge hit for  them just as the X100 was, even with all of its quirks. It does have the Lightroom X-Trans sensor issue though and I may have preferred the old sensor but I wil not make any statements just yet. Quote: Stevehuff

X-E1 got one click 10x magnification,
and when in mf mode, clicking the AE lock button will auto focus.

I m torn between Fuji x100s and Fuji xe1 + 35mm f1.4...
Which should i go for?...

im in the same shoe with u for past few weeks... but after i did make my choice...
anyway, back to the basis... what u want to shoot the most (diff lens hv diff capabilities)? and will u get impress by the fujineon lens road map?

i understand x100s did a great job in terms of speed overally, but at the end... i still choose the sexy one and never regret to do so... cool2.gif

Nice shoot and great pics.. now I'm more convinced to get it. Targeting at xe-1 with 35mm 1.4, but the above pics taken with 18-55 are amazing too..

Thanks. 18-55mm is an awesome 'kit' lens. They all look good with the X-E1. biggrin.gif
