Suddenly so many ppl buy X100 after X100s released / announced

Very good price now indeed.
*
Ya man.... Last time when X100 released like no one bought one....

It certainly is a very good price. Bad for existing X100 owners like me. If want to sell got no price.... :-D

sticky aperture? is it the aperture tend to open back to larger aperture slower? hope mine dun have this issue...
If exposure is ok then no problem. SAB is when you open the aperture and the blades stick and does not open to the correct aperture.

Your pics look fine. Should not be an issue. Don't worry about it.

I thought sticky aperture is when you set the aperture to f16 and they don't close. I may be mistaken
*
Yeah.... correct.... When you open OR close the aperture blades and they stick.... biggrin.gif

Not necessarily to f16....

OMD wins Fuji X series with the breezing fast autofocus speed...
but it is still a micro 4/3 sensor which is relatively small compare to aspc on x100s/xe1/xpro1... perhaps, OMD will provide you a lineup of m43 lens available (not only from oly) without losing the AF function...

it is a very individual thought as i said... just make a wise choice and works on yr budget...  smile.gif
*
OMD should be compared with X-E1 rather than the fixed lens X100/s.

I did consider the OMD before buying the X-E1. No regrets for me. The IQ and high ISO of the X-E1 is superb. OMD image stabilization is the best but 18-55 OIS is pretty good.

Definitely is an individual choice. If you really must have fast focusing or need the 5-axis IBIS then the OMD is the choice. Otherwise, it's got to be the X-E1.

Damn it, I'm torn between the X100 and X100s! Argh!
*
I'll sell u my X100 and buy the X100s.... biggrin.gif

But seriously... There is a subtle difference in the look between my X100 and my X-Trans equipped X-E1. Somehow the X100 has more..... soul(???) to it. Not sure how the X-Trans equipped X100s will render shots.... Maybe time to get one to try....

Hmm. Better give Fuji Malaysia a call just to confirm if international warranty is ok here.

Noticed a spot in my 18-55. Sent to Fuji Glenmarie. They are replacing mine with a new 18-55. :-). Warranty veli important.

Nice shoot and great pics.. now I'm more convinced to get it. Targeting at xe-1 with 35mm 1.4, but the above pics taken with 18-55 are amazing too..
*
Thanks. 18-55mm is an awesome 'kit' lens. They all look good with the X-E1. biggrin.gif

Does it have 3x magnification. I normally take landscape and 10x seems rather excessive. Btw, I don't what will happen if I try to auto focus with a manual only lens. Will it jam or something?

X-E1 has 3x and 10x magnification.
