Foreigners admitted with low salary will find it harder to start a family in sg and especially so if their soulmates are not local.

just wondering is sgd2.5k is consider low in sg for a fresh grad majoring in mechanical engineering?

i think together. coz i supose they submit the offer letter together with the working pass form.
im not so sure tou.
as long as they dont ask u for money at first place, thats alright.
dont fall into scam or company who try to take advantage of ur working need.
*
After the interview, the HR asked me to fill up the working pass form without giving me any offer letter. I told them I need time to discuss with my family and hope to get back the application form to stop them apply working pass for me. They told me won't do anything before get my confirmation thru email, but after one week I received an email from HR saying that my employment pass are successful applied and ask me to go for medical check.

*I'm so worry that I fall into scam company, as they are to aggressive in hiring.

If I reject the company's offer, would they cancel my employment pass as well? Will this affect my next application for employment pass with MOM in Singapore?

Guys,

Other than aeroline...what other express coach stops at 1 utama?
Cos I find that aeroline is quite pricey...any alternatives?
*
My friend recommended First Coach to me...

http://www.firstcoach.com.my

A bit cheaper than Aero line as well. I haven't tried it before personally but I will be trying the bus to subang parade soon smile.gif

I helped whatever i can because i understand how it feel to move in singapore without any help.haha

the problem you facing now is toilet, 900 with attached toilet near public transport spots(i guess you mean mrt because bus stop is everywhere), you need to search for the room harder, maybe you will find one, because is quite a big sum for a single tenant, i bet alot of tenant want this kind of tenant as they get quite a sum but only one tenant at that room. i suggest you try to find room where the unit only got two room, one master room and one common room, definitely you will be the only one use the toilet while you rent the common room, the different thing is toilet not attached to your room..

if a girl looking for attached toilet i can understand, but can i ask why you want a attached toilet so badly? hmm.gif
*
I had a very bad experience b4 when renting room but have to share common toilet, some of the things I seen still haunts me till today. So I rather stay in my parents house when my room not master have my own toilet so I don't have to relive that nightmare. But I'm kinda bored staying here ATM I want try life in Singapore.

Yup First Coach is recommended! But it doesn't stop exactly in 1 Utama, it stops in One World Hotel.

oic, you look for common room first, then go and see the room yourself, check the environment and house owner, you can ask any question like , how many tenant, toilet is only use by u and so on, they dont mind if you ask question, just dont ask those nonsense one can d. laugh.gif

i guess you mostly like easy to get bored at the same place for a long time which most people also same, but singapore is even more bored as you like start a new life here, less friends, want save money less go out, will this bored you? hmm.gif

The purpose of getting the approval before the offer letter is to ensure that you can pass the application. Else they will be wasting time as well. Becos if they offer you a position but the MOM don't give the green light, they cannot hire you too.

Ask for the IPA, usually a copy printed from the internet for your reference.

In there, will state what kind of pass, what position are you offered, what company, how much are you getting paid.

If they are not going to give you that complete with your employment letter, then it's a bit fishy.

I'd say it's reasonable pay. Even in Malaysia it's at that rate.

Causeway link ? bought online using malaysia currency? i only can bought Transnational as that the most convenient bus for me, i know is a big company, but i experience before they take on too much passengers as they need to kick some of them out, i guess those kena kicked out is those paid direct to the bus driver, that make me worry about buying online as it is a piece of paper printed out rather than ticket printed out by counter, you know la, malaysia what also can happen, later they say you fake the ticket and so on. doh.gif

i just trying to find time to go larkin and buy myself but kinda busy recently. cry.gif

He can either get out of his room to do stuff, or bring stuff into his room to do them there.

Thought someone just forgot and left it there....

When I first came here and made my first withdrawal at the POSB ATM, I stood right behind the person using the ATM. Then some one pointed at the queue to me.. sweat.gif

Never thought the queue can be that far away from the ATM...

In my opinion the boredom is not derived from your location (MY vs SG), but rather depends on how many friends you have in MY vs. SG, how familiar you are with the places, how much you are willing to spend etc.
I hope things will get better for you.
