Any of you got knowledge of / experience in driving a van into Singapore? My parents have a 10-seater Toyota Hiace which they may need to drive into SG. I can't figure out from LTA website whether to just drive in as a normal passenger car/van, or whether there is any special procedure to follow. http://www.lta.gov.sg/content/dam/ltaweb/c...12_Nov_2010.pdfFrom what I can tell, you need a permit to operate a Van/Bus for commercial use, but this is 100% private use (for coming into SG with relatives for holiday).

Hi Guys,
I have got an interview with BDO Singapore this thursday. They mentioned to me on the phone briefly about a bond of 18 months?. Any idea what's that about?
Also, what is the salary for an experienced assurance hire?. I am currently in a big4 in m'sia for 2 years

If I were you, I would ask for something in return for that bond. I'd ask for a guaranteed increment and bonus after 12 months. Reason being, if they choose not to give you an increment and/or bonus (or a lousy one), then you're stuck up the creek without a paddle.
