QUOTE(scpt @ Mar 27 2013, 11:51 AM) I hope they won't produce this so I won't get poisoned do share after you upgrade it! I've seen some videos, it does crawl along slowly maybe need to add additional motors Well, Lego are not RC so I don't think we can achieve the speed that RC cars can even after we changed the gearing. imho need to put in RC car motors to up the speed that would be the easy way but then again I'm no mechanical engineer so I can be totally wrong about this! Just wanted to give my 2cents and help push this to V8! lol!

QUOTE(Yiha9944 @ Mar 27 2013, 12:28 PM) really?? hmm...then why some SW sets the price is almost triple the price of retail a? Most probably is because the set is already EOL which means end of production... So market price went up like rocket... Eg UCS millenium falcon...

With the success of Shell Lego cars, maybe this can entice McD to promote BigMac Meal and pay another RM12 to get the McD shop set, StarBucks to sell large moche latte and add another RM12 to get the Starbuck lego set 7-11 to promote buy one dozen of Durex "rubber" and the 7-11 set is yours!

QUOTE(Yiha9944 @ Mar 27 2013, 12:24 PM) guys, may i know lego sets that was released years ago will get re-issue? or there is no re-issue on lego sets? Thanks Nope! A re-issue of the exact set will not happen. What Lego will do is release a newer updated version with improve building techniques and details of an old set. Probably the most significant one being this year's UCS X-Wing, they also did similar releases with other SW classics like 9492 Tie Fighter, 9493 X-Wing and 7965 Millennium Falcon. I doubt they will do that for franchise/licensed sets but SW being so popular it is the exception rather than the norm... What sort of old sets are you looking for? BrickLink will be the best source for discontinued sets. Either buy the set from BrickLink or build your own from parts ordered from BrickLink. Try it, it's challenging and fun!
