Well for new LEGO fans like u.. if u compared past sets and now ... U will notice how simple things were back then. there weren't many customized parts. The lack of sleekness is obvious.

WHat I REALLY, REALLY miss bout old lego sets are their alternate designs at the back of the box. I always would try to reproduce them although there's no instructions nor internet to download them.  They're not doing it anymore. Creators with 3-in-1 models are better than nothing though .

I guess that is the beauty of the old set. Luckily, there are many creators sets to fulfill lego fans needs.

I have been most impress with the series of creators houses such as seaside houses and hill side houses which allow for multiple build. rclxms.gif

Haih... Already said. If broadcasted here. Most probs go the next day all gone.

But good for those manage to snatch the good sets, and hope those r genuine collectors not resellers.  doh.gif

Correct, but I guess caring is sharing?

Field Report
Date: 01/03/2013
Time: 2030 - 2200 hours

Target Site 1: AEON MV

Good stuff mostly gone. Some Young Builder sets and Chima left, some SW (couple of Rancor Pits left) and 1 Ninjago Golden Dragon. Also spotted one more City Fire Station (Set 7208) in the glass cabinet so those who wanna get it before the 15% offer is over better make it quick.

Target Site 2: Toys R Us MV

Fully stocked shelves, like TRU 1U yesterday

Couldn't find what I want from AEON and didn't want to leave empty handed. My haul for the day from Brickboy with 10% discount. So tempted to get another set 76001 so that I can have a spare "The Dark Knight" costume Batman as well as extra Tumbler and The Bat.

while standby-ing on my project deployment night, I took the opportunity to unbox my ninjago 70500 mech and did some mod to it. My version's mech has a head, a shoulder mounted turret gun, a gundam-like shield, and anti-air missile launcher on the shoulder. tongue.gif

the mech's head can be moved down and become a cockpit for Kai, for him to manually control the mech laugh.gif

I see alot of new stock has arrived. As much as I want to buy some of the Spidey or Batman sets from Aeon due to the 15% discount and some spare vouchers which I have, had to resist because of this huge haul I made at Amcorp last week..

It is the 1990 M-tron Mega Core Magnetizer, the flagship vehicle of the M-tron line. It cost me RM 450, but to me it is worth every sen!  thumbup.gif

Wah, how much is this? This one has a lot of playability.

Going to get Galactic Titan? brows.gif
