that pooch which comes with the Trendsetter really nice  thumbup.gif

erm, that Golden Minifigure only 5000 limited production? i wonder how many boxes of CMF LEGO usually sell worldwide? 1/2 million boxes perhaps? roughly 0.1% chance then?
*
Noob question: what do you get with the Golden Minifig? Just a rare minifig to add to your collection?

For all we know, the golden figure may only be available for US & Europe market. I wont wanna hunt for this baby..if I get it, it just a bonus. I want to make sure I can get the rest of the characters i like.

Wish those who obtained the golden figure can have access to the main Lego factory...he he..like Charlie and his Chocolate Factory.
*
That's what I thought - visit the factory, free LEGO, special VIP Card with Lifetime Privileges ie. Discounts on LEGO Worldwide.

One can dream wink.gif

What figure you want? The Superman? Or all 3 from the set?

If it's just Superman, I guess can wait for the "Man Of Steel" sets.

Funny thing is, before I started to buy LEGO I actually saw alot of the Superman set you're talking about on the shelves. Even when I was in Legoland in October 2012.

Don't know if it was restock or what at that time.

Hmmm have to check price and see how many interested. If too few not worth to bring in because of the shipping.

Yeah that's true, different design. More comic book-y compared to the movie version.

No such luck at AEON 1U

But rejoice, the drought is over. So happy to see lots of new stock at Toys R Us 1U! It's like Christmas! wub.gif

Funny sight. The shelves were so bare the last time but now they don't have enough space and the LEGO are on the floor!

Also saw a dude picit-picit a box of Series 9 at TRU. Probably about 1/2 box left at the counter.

AEON got 15% on LEGO? Sounds like a good deal! Too bad nothing at 1U just now. Maybe will check out MV tomorrow night!

Many more Tumbler vs Bat? Feel like getting a spare set if cheap. Itchy.

None of the stuff I want.

Full shelves at TRU MV. Everyone shopping at AEON I guess smile.gif

Haih... Already said. If broadcasted here. Most probs go the next day all gone.

But good for those manage to snatch the good sets, and hope those r genuine collectors not resellers.  doh.gif

Correct, but I guess caring is sharing?

Field Report
Date: 01/03/2013
Time: 2030 - 2200 hours

Target Site 1: AEON MV

Good stuff mostly gone. Some Young Builder sets and Chima left, some SW (couple of Rancor Pits left) and 1 Ninjago Golden Dragon. Also spotted one more City Fire Station (Set 7208) in the glass cabinet so those who wanna get it before the 15% offer is over better make it quick.

Target Site 2: Toys R Us MV

Fully stocked shelves, like TRU 1U yesterday

Couldn't find what I want from AEON and didn't want to leave empty handed. My haul for the day from Brickboy with 10% discount. So tempted to get another set 76001 so that I can have a spare "The Dark Knight" costume Batman as well as extra Tumbler and The Bat.

You know, once i ordered palace cinema wild thoughts ran through my mind.

"Hmm maybe i should get Pet shop... how about Fire brigade... maybe Town hall?"

Damn disturbing... need to fight with the temptations... luckily i got limited space to display LEGO
So yeah... that kinda stopped me from going further tongue.gif
*
I admire your strength! thumbup.gif

I was like that once - telling myself "This is my last 12 inch figure". Then photos of MMS DX 11, 12 and whatever hit the net and I'm like "Holy Crap! That looks awesome and I have to get it".

That's why I find it hard retiring from 1/6th figures. And I just ordered a couple of other Batman-related toys. doh.gif

The heart wants what the heart wants. Resisting the power of the One Ring now.

And some of those modulars, mighty tempting.

If it was me, I'll want to take my own sweet time and not rush it.

Yes, of course I'd want to see the end product and proudly display it but I'd want to enjoy the "journey" as well.

I was also tempted to get the 4 sets so I could complete the Fellowship but lack of funds.

I know some of the bros here will suggest just to get the minifigs but because they are so ....... mini. I feel they need some kind of background or diorama.

Speaking of Unexpected Gathering, who knows LEGO may come out with a Bag End set with an old 111 year old Birthday Boy Bilbo Baggins.

Also, not sure how many of you have seen this:

TARGET Exclusive Blu-ray with Bilbo minifig

This is the 2nd Blu-ray I've personally seen announced that comes with a LEGO minifig, the other being LEGO Batman movie that comes with the Clark Kent minifig.
