Oh.. Yeah.. I've never really met up with the "group"before, I'm still active, just, less time/effort spent on it these days, looks like I have G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) these days instead laugh.gif I seem to have most of the "trending" gears bar the Rupes.
Hahaha...very nice. Share with us your 'collections' then....don't be shy now....hehehe....

Hm.. Not that nice la.. Feels like a show-off sweat.gif I used to do that back when I was into Car Audio, showing off all the nice and vintage amps I have, but it brought wrong impressions instead.

Anyway, if @acefreakz is interested in the B&D, I personally don't think it's worth it even just for waxing, it's around at least RM200 brand new, some places selling up to RM350, the Bosch is a much more worthy buy at RM350 + RM50 for pads.

I'm a little bit particular and sensitive when it comes to 'car washes'. Could you please define 'good' in term of your expectations. Thanks.

"Good" in term of my expectation is their servicing and particular about the details (e.g. dirt/stain on the rims)....most of the car wash center just do so-so when washing the car...just simply wipes thru the snow bubbles...not even trying to remove any stubborn dirt on the car body...plus, i'm kinda frustrated when they just simply climb and step on the tyres to swipe the roof top of my MPV... sad.gif

Do you have any good/reliable car wash recommendation near bukit jalil or gasing indah area?

OMG...you didn't say you have a LORRY!!! If you're really dead serious, that is DEFINITELY a job for a DA man.

Ok la...maybe the Bosch with some choice of good quality pads and polishes would do if you're on a budget. But, if not, I DEFINITELY would recommend you to consider the Rupes Bigfoot....

Oh...AH only have the Bosch and the B&D, no DA there. And, again, GRexer is right, forget about the B&D. Personally, it's not worth in my book if you're serious.

Personally, if it's on Groupon, it's not that great a deal, coz you should be expecting production house services. wink.gif

It really is just the motor, but it's better to have a more powerful motor than a lesser one, especially when we apply pressure on the machine, a lesser motor will definitely bog down(slow down) much faster than a powerful motor.

I reckon the $$$ saved on the DAS-6 is not really worth it unless you're only planning on polishing/glazing/waxing, don't think it'll be good enough if you need to do any compounding(removing serious defects).

I have to echo GRexer again....the difference is just the motor, but it's a difference that really makes a difference (duh blink.gif ...what...???)

I have a dual action polisher with 710W motor.

Is that enough power or under power? ph34r.gif
