No, it's not normal. I think it's got problem on the proximity sensor..my friend's lumia 800 also got this problem, she can't end the call. Better bring it to Nokia care.

Btw my problem solved already, lucky didn't need to send it to Nokia care, just did a hard reset on it and then WiFi can be connected. But need to reinstall apps, take some time also, but its ok, not a big deal. Hard reset also taking almost 2 hours to finish.

glad to hear that you resolved the problem. DIY to boot. btw, anybody experienced some freezing? Sometimes when using the phone eg. Reading forum the phone freezes then cannot scroll. Lock the screen then unlock it becomes ok already. I noticed this happen after I put SD card. 2gb not so frequent, my 4gb one more such episodes.

even my phone that nvr been put any SD card also face the same, sometimes..but I can live with it, not a big problem and the frequency still can be accepted, I think it's normal. Still love my 720..

Yeah man, same here. Had iOs, hated it. Switched to Android, wondering whether I bought a toy or a phone. Now owner of Lumia 720 Gorgeous black! So smooth except for Whatsapp (sometimes commit suicide!). It's a real business phone that means business!

all instant messenger notification are either lost or late at least 2 hours
ie wechat, whatsapp, messenger, skype, etc etc

the only thing working well is SMS

You can probably blame the app developers for that. But WP8 is still relatively new and evolving so hopefully they'll get their acts together.
