Weather apps look really nice art 1st, the apps will drain your battery too.

For me, I set my location manually and turn off Location for the weather app, so it won't keep polling for my location which is draining the battery.
Been using Weather Flow since I got my phone. But I think Amazing Weather HD got more info and functions compared with Weather Flow which is more expensive.

Looks like even after portico update, Lumia 920 still facing problem in long distance shot, quite blur as well.......

GDR2 fix and improve Camera not portico.

Type a word, then tap on it to highlight it. You'll see it shown on the suggestion bar with a '+' in front of it. Tap that to add it.

Yeap, Amazing Weather HD is really nice, but I got small issue with the lockscreen wallpaper option. But it's a small issue.

No the lockscreen can't do animated with weather.

Actually Weather Flow & Amazing Weather HD are same price but Amazing Weather HD is on 50% sale now. Quite worth it if u ask me.

its already available for manual install using the NUS. im on GDR2.

we need to put our number in. i think thats how they track our 920, using telco signal.

By the way, after I update to Portico, I'm facing some apps problem. For 3rd party facebook apps, the top menu bar(notification, post, message, friend request, as well as top left option bar) all gone missing, is there any bug with it?

1308 is GDR2. Portico did improved in the sharpness a bit and correct the colour balance a bit, but still not good. GDR2 for me now is considered okay. If you are comparing the picture taken using the built in photo gallery, then for sure you can't see the different. Try viewing in computer or using HD Photo Viewer app. As discussed before in this thread, the built in photo gallery actually compressed the image to let it use less resources for faster response.

If 1308 is GDR2, then what is portico?

will new protico fix the random reboot problem...i using the 1st batch 920 and wait for the update till now....swt ~

if u check back few pages my lumia is always dead if on long standby...then i send to nokia care to update to latest portico and walla im not having any of that issue anymore.been 3 days with no prob whatsoever

so i think yes it will fix most of the prob of the old firmware
