Yes!! just 1 more week! 1 more week of suffering... cry.gif Sony somehow also stupid, even if the phone is not yet released, they should make demo/dummy unit available for people to consider the phone or not, like Japan made before.. Seriously someone should talk to APAC Marketing Manager..

As good as the Nexus 4 is, especially for the price.. the lack of external memory is a major factor to me. MSC > MTP always for speed and convenience.

Also, after using the Acro S, IP56 is a very handy thing to have.

Samsung is indeed the king of android devices at the moment, we all know that and they've come up with some very good devices. But having one company monopolise market share is always a bad thing, which is why companies like HTC, Sony, etc have to step up and provide phones that can compete against Samsung. Healthy competition benefits the consumers, and Google too!

err... for me, performance of the device is important. but judging from all current and latest phone spec, the performance gap is minor i think, especially in real life usage. all the benchmark score, just for showing only.
true la some phone start up facebook or whatsapp 0.5sec faster... but what is there for me to lose?

another thing is the design of the phone. it's one aspect that really differentiate one phone from another

nexus 4? great device at affordable price. but lack of sd card and LTE turns me away as my next phone to ugrade

The only reason that I am aiming for this XZ is having a better camera quality result and water proof/resistance features

Oh I also like the on-screen control instead of the hardware/thoise touch control
(except for power/vol control)

N4 in general is a good phone and fast too, but i don't really like the quality of the photo
I dont really need damn good quality picture produce by point and shoot camera or DSLR and dont want to bring two or more devices to every where i go
So a near perfect to thoise point and shoot camera is cool enought for me including fast capturing so i wont miss any movement

And as sometimes i dont play my car's radio
the N4's speaker seems to be very "sharp"/"distorted", dont know how to explain but compare to my galaxy note1
My g.note 1 seems to produce better sound.

Reality displays have never had great viewing angles. But I view my phones straight on, I don't really have much need for extended viewing angles. Others might though.

I'm using the Nexus 4 right now, and it's definitely the best value for money out there, in any brand or platform. However, one disadvantage is the camera isn't exactly top quality, even just among smartphones, that's important to me, might not be to others.

The main reason I'm getting the Xperia Z as well is because it's got a really good camera, I love the design and build, water/dust resistance, And have used previous Xperia models that served me well. Most importantly my company requires a separate work line, so I have a good excuse tongue.gif

If you're looking to save cash, then getting the Nexus 4 is the best choice.

If the demo unit is available now in stores, what would you test out first before buying it? The camera? The viewing angles? The build quality?

The thing is HTC was there but they lost it. Sony well they was never there. I don't count X10 as being there. All phones after that was lower spec. This is the real deal. The good thing with Sony though is they have a potentially unlimited feel good design.

Sony took a while to catch up. I wonder why they are that slow. I hope Sony don't score another Russian Roulette like they did with their Xperia S though.

True, plus I believe that we're going to hit a wall real soon in regards to processors in our smartphones. At least till they can come up with improved battery technology. Battery technology hasn't changed much in many years and it doesn't scale at all with processor technology. Too powerful processor also no use, you'll find yourself constantly recharging the phone. Soon we'll be up to 2 hour screen time with each phone biggrin.gif

I don't like the Nexus 4. Just not a fan of the design. Not a fan of the S3s either. The XZ has been the phone that has wow'ed me and grabbed my attention.
