QUOTE(Areas Elysian @ Feb 20 2013, 10:19 AM) HTC One looks like a good phone, but stupidly, they did not give a MicroSD slot. That is extremely important for me. why not just use cloud service? i duno i duno have a andriod device before hehe...After having experience file transfer with a few phones that has an internal memory only, I will never buy one. Too much of a hit or miss when it comes to connecting and mounting the memory to a computer, slow transfer, can not queue multiple files etc. That aside, I don't understand why Sony can not come out with a 32GB model. but what i heard cloud service is nice...especially dropbox... although i only use dropbox in PC only |

QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Feb 20 2013, 10:52 AM) deja vu... Xperia S, anyone? i using streamyx 1mbps only for those with a decent broadband package+unifi at home, can la use cloud service.. im only using Upax and only P1 20GB at home..so cloud is not a choice for me.. duno i never use cloud service hehe. cable all the way. QUOTE(Areas Elysian @ Feb 20 2013, 11:16 AM) As good as cloud services are, they don't offer much quotas. For simple transfers and all, I agree, it is an alternative, but still, compare the difference: Dropbox: Select photo -> Set to upload to Dropbox -> Sync Dropbox on PC -> View photo on PC MSC: Plug phone to computer -> Open DCIM folder and view photo on PC You can't argue with the simplicity and speed of MSC. What if I need to transfer a file to a client who does not have Dropbox on his PC/Laptop? still stuck with n8 tho |

QUOTE(uzary @ Feb 22 2013, 03:42 PM) Sony did some problems of its own like xperia v infamous SOD, sleep of death where the phone non responding after it sleep. N first batch xperia s got that yellow tint appearing on screen when the temperature is high. oh, yellow tint from iphone 4 last time i hear is due to the screen glue is not enough dry and they urge to release to market fast fast and then when you turn on the screen and kena the burn mark so you will have a yellow tint...that is what i hear from iphone last time. not sure relate or not.QUOTE(junsheng @ Feb 22 2013, 04:02 PM) SD problem is actually not samsung s3 or note 2 problem, owh talk about that this reminds me my office laptop cant connect my home wifi line either. it can detect but when connect for first time it will ask for WEP password but weird it straight show cant connect and it never ask me wifi password first bcauz android is not designed to support hot-swappable SD card, especially whn u r using ntfs/fat32/exfat file system, use ext4 file system with fsync on lar 2 be safe, but have to install ext4 driver, i think samsung remove tat from the original android sony is unable to detect home wifi, especially those unifi's wifi modem bcauz some of the new modem tat custom firmware by TM does no follow malaysia SKMM wifi rules so u will need to set wifi bandwidth to 20 mhz, set wifi channel from 1-11 not more thn tat open source 4 driver, driver 4 building custom android OS lor, like camera driver or wifi driver etc |

QUOTE(uzary @ Feb 22 2013, 09:18 PM) Just hv a chat wit my bestfren, he is using lumia920. We cant wait to hv a low light camera shoot out contest. Ofcoz im well aware lumia920 has the upperhand during lowlight however i did mentioned to him that if he troll me too muc when he got the better pic, i'll challenge him in a water proof contest. Hahaha i wonder now Exmor RS handle the low light photograph... because the sun mentioned L920 can shoot can pull longer shutter speed because of that. that's why you see L920 shot all landscape type lol... never see people moving in pasar malam those moving type of shot. i want see this type of shot of 3 phone XZ, L920, and HTC ONE |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Feb 23 2013, 02:29 PM) Night shot - iPhone 5 win somehow i prefer Z's WB Color reproduction - iPhone 5 win Details - iPhone 5 win Image stabilize - iPhone 5, as they was an error on Xperia Z Smoothness - Xperia Z win Day time - I give to Xperia Z as they is some over expose issue on iPhone 5 and auto exposure seems like Z is little faster |

QUOTE(refnulf @ Feb 25 2013, 08:18 PM) My colleagues at work keep asking me to get the HTC One when it comes out, told them it's the ugliest phone I've ever seen (IMHO). I can understand that others love it, but they need to stop forcing their opinions on others. i actually like HTC ONE not hate though, metal or glass body for me is same, but stereo speaker > water splash resistance. good for me who rely 100% on alarm clock to wake up lulz. beside that, got any comparison that ZL and Z loud speaker readings? i forget i've saw in which post .... gonna poison my brother for this while i get HTC then i can play both (also help him deside either Z or ZL) This post has been edited by Agito666: Feb 25 2013, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(refnulf @ Feb 25 2013, 10:11 PM) It's a great phone, good specs, but I see it as a very ugly phone. I think it's the speaker placements in front that turns me off it. haha different people different taste, put at back of the phone people complain watch movie tak siok because volume at rear side, not direct face to face.Z put at side also kena complain.... iphone i duno... HTC wise maybe, if you put screen facing at your leg, i just put reverses position but 32 gb memory is naisss... i actually wanted to see Z vs ONE camera battle... i guess most probally like both got win lose condition la... don't really care that... hopefully sony is realible enough for future software support so i can tell my lil'bro to get that phone This post has been edited by Agito666: Feb 25 2013, 10:19 PM |
