Oh ya!! I almost forgot another problem i had with my xperia arc..
Hope its better in xperia Z...
The problem is the touchscreen...If you press one spot on the screen then press another spot very quickly,it will be registered as a swipe..also,the screen will kind of like shake around even when your finger is touching the screen but didnt move...(I dont know how to explain this second problem.. )

Still,what i want to say is that my current smart phone is almost 2 years old and the touch screen is not very good compared to the iphone 4 which was released earlier than xperia arc..i can say that iphone touch screen is sooo smooth that it totally smoked xperia's touch screen...So i want to know whether xperia z faces this problem or not..how smooth will the touch screen be?

Ohh..and before you flame me further..let me tell you that i never bad mouth Xperia Z phone or any other phone. All phone have its good and bad..pro and cons.
For me all phones are good and okay. It's just their fans that was bad.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Samsung’s dominance on the market for Android devices has begun to make Google executives uneasy. The latter reportedly worry that the Korean manufacturer is large enough to renegotiate its current arrangement with Google and eat into the search giant’s lucrative mobile-ad business.

Samsung has received over 10% of the latter’s revenue in the past. The company has also signaled to Google that it might demand more going forward, as Google’s revenue from mobile apps such as Google Maps and YouTube is on the rise.

During a Google event for executives last year, Andy Rubin, the head of Android hailed Samsung’s market success and mutually beneficial relationship with the search giant. He did however, also warn that the Korean company could pose a business threat should it pull too far ahead of its competitors. Samsung shipped almost 200 million Android devices more than its closest competitor on its way to about 40% share of the global smartphone market.

According to Mr. Rubin, Google’s acquisition of Motorola Mobility is a form of insurance policy against manufacturers who gain too much power over the Android ecosystem. Motorola is widely expected to release an Android powerhouse this year, which will likely be dubbed the X Phone.

In a nutshell, the relationship between Google and Samsung is likely going to get more complicated in the near future. Representatives from both companies are yet to officially comment on the matter.

Samsung is indeed the king of android devices at the moment, we all know that and they've come up with some very good devices. But having one company monopolise market share is always a bad thing, which is why companies like HTC, Sony, etc have to step up and provide phones that can compete against Samsung. Healthy competition benefits the consumers, and Google too!

I went to Sony Center in 1 Utama. The staff said initially they heard of the price as 2300, the latest information they received is that the device will cost about 2500.

If it's RM2299, still consider acceptable for me. If it's RM2499, then I won't get it. If it's RM1999, then pretty good price

No idea what's going to happen with the price.

Those that get it from Singapore, please test the speakers and the call quality. Most important so far!
