Yep, wondering what's going to be shipped in the box. I'm hoping the dock, battery life isn't going to be great so I'll probably need a dock both at work and at home. If there's a dock in the box, then I'm a happy man. No issues getting an additional one. I just hope I can get the purple version locally.

Dang, I like the Z, but I also like the ZL. Hard to choose.

Ahh, won't our low yat dealers also have stock when it arrives on our shores?

I'll check with the one in Ikano.

Contacted Ikano Sony Centre and they said that they're accepting pre-orders since yesterday. Package they're not 100% confirmed but the docking is definitely included.

Not sure if there will be any freebies and they will charge 40% first since they don't have a final price yet.

That's what the guy told me, I hope it's true of course. I wouldn't mind skipping on a freebie for pre-order if the dock comes standard in the package.

Now not too sure if I should pre-order or just wait first. 40% means they're going to estimate it's costing 2200 or whatever, then just charge 40% of that amount. Then once the final price is released, they'll charge the rest once you come to collect the phone.

Needs to be submerged fully though.

Can probably load crap you don't care for too much like music/movies, etc in the internal memory. Stuff you probably have back up off in your pc, etc.

I'll just buy it straight once it's out. Hopefully can get the purple one!

I went to Sony Wings store in The Curve earlier and they don't have a pre-order. They said that they will take names/contact information and call when the item arrives. First come first serve, etc.

Sony Centre in Ikano had a pre-order up and they will take your name, contact number and the colour of the phone you want. Then they ask for RM200 for deposit and issue you with a receipt for the deposit with the phone information. Call you when it arrives so you can go and collect. So I asked him a few questions earlier and he said he has NO exact price for the phone, NO idea about what's in the box, and NO idea about the freebies that are coming with the pre-order.

Eventually he said just give him RM50 for the pre-order so I did that. Now just wait till mid of March for the phone to arrive. No issues if you want to cancel the pre-order, just go back and collect the deposit. If use cc, then you'll lose 2% from the deal because they'll return cash during cancellation.

So summary is, no idea what's going on but I need a phone as my current phone is dying So just grab this in the next few weeks
