For TH, its not a Compulsory requirement to contribute. Its voluntary.

Whereas for EPF, its Mandatory to contribute.  SO its never going to run out of funds. Some people may term it as a possible ponzi scheme.

Tiap- tiap tahun circa around after CNY until late Feb, without fail, this thread will suddenly come out of hibernation for one and half to two months and be very active. Thereafter, after Feb, this thread will go back to sleep again.

It is like clockwork...very precise one.

3months is 25% of the YTD.  If they have stocks in DJ, its a possibility.  PLus most dividends are declared at Year end.

I think he meant is 35billion in 9 months...
if 11 billion is 11/35 = 31%

I get that.

But 3 months is 25% of the year. So really RM11b is 'only' 11/46 = 23.9% full year.
Is that achievable especially with year end dividends declared? Yes

I am not sure of the exact datelines. BUt many companies have year end close. So there is substantial income from dividends.

if year end close (End 2018)....declare dividend in March ~ June. (end 2019).....will that be already made known in KWSP earning 2019?

No idea of the exact dates. But think EPF people sit on the boards of these companies. BY then they will already have un audited accounts and an idea of the incomes.

KWSP has like 800bil and 30% foreign investment while PNB has like 300bil and 8% foreign investment ( trying to reach 30% too in 2-3 years time ). KWSP 30% foreign investment brought in 37% of the income..

We shouldnt baseline the dividen reference of like historically kwsp payout lesser on this.

PNB need to change :
"PNB group chairman Tan Sri Zeti Aziz said: “We will continue to strengthen our investment portfolio in this challenging period via our diversification strategy, tighter risk management and enhancing our internal capabilities through a progressive organisational transformation plan.”

Too much local bailout i guess ...

Hope hope EPF give 6%+ for 2019.. 2020 will be tough due to this Covid19

EPF has many different fund managers, could be each acting independently, given the buy/sell nature of the trades. Though it's not the case for PNB, so could be PNB supporting the stock price.
